some friendly advice... next time just unbolt the engine mounts and unscrew the drive shafts! there are less than 10 hoses to disconnect and a few clips to unplug!
no disrespect but that was painful to watch, a lot of what you did was unnecessary : D
@maddogmatt44 No new engine. It blew, I replaced the head gasket which we thought was the problem and then it promptly died again after melting two pistons. :( Now I'm building an Audi with a VR6 in it.
muscle cars have tons of room to work on and use 40-50s technology :-) no kidding, few wires, few big bolts and pull :-) This thing on the other hand is a maze has enough wires to wire the twin towers...
For a first timer it'll probably take you the whole day to get it out. We took our time and took breaks here and there. Slackers. :p Once you get used to it might take about three hours I'd guess.
Yea first time it'll take you an easy day or two ... once you get the hang of it, it should take you about 3 and a half hours ..... but no including brakes ... you CANT pull out a VR without taking atleast 2 brakes ..... you'll have a fucking heart attack lol

This was epic!
Good job!
Great music choice!
Hope everything goes well with the ring.
*tip of the future is that the whole front of the car comes off as an assembly. I pretty sure you found that out after you took it apart ;-)
