Like nog made more losing to Mir then mir made for winning. His base pay is either 45 or 65,000 I cant recollect and then you basically double that. Liddell was making a million a fight for a while when he was winning. I think lesnar makes 250 or 350 a fight wich is undeserved.

Why do any of you even care where the interview was? Reporters do interviews whereever they can and whenever they can. Obviously Silva didn't seem to mind, he's smiling almost through the entire time and they seem to get along. I thought it was a good interview and so did most of the people who commented here, but when one hater starts talking shit, it seems that the rest of the trolls come out too.
What I like about Wanderlei's chances in the UFC is that he's 1 of the few fighters coming over from PRIDE that actually has taken time off to move and THEN trained for a fight instead of just overlooking a fight or changing camps, countries, etc. at the last moment (ala: Shogun)...that being said, it might take him some time to adapt but at least he's taking the proper precautions so I respect him for that

If you've ever seen Chuck's losses: they've always come to people who pursue him, be very aggressive, and get in the inside - this just so happens to be Wanderlei's fighting style...stylistically, Wandy will get on the inside and pick him apart; Rampage destroyed Chuck with limited Muay Thai knowledge and Wanderlei's specialty is Muay Thai

Nah, Wandy didnt back down, I believe its been confirmed hes fighting on the December card.
Stylistically, even though I feel hes a better fighter than Chuck, I think Chuck would win here, with his careful counter punching coupled with Silva's weak chin and Silva's rapid advances.
On the other hand, Chuck did get dominated by Rampage, so who knows what another striker might do to him

i dont think wandi has a weak chin at all, i mean they where in a tough fight and dan was puttin together combos all night.dan threw a left hook,missed and then a right cross, landed followed by two quick left hooks, one missed and one landed.
to put it plainly wandi ate a right cross followed by a nice left hook not to mention he was getting worked the whole round.wandi has a good of chin as most of the top fighters.plus chuk lost to a right hook with no clean shots landed prior to his loss.

ok, he doesn't have a glass jaw per se, but it's not like he has a diamond chin either and I'm certain chuck's got sufficient KO power to knock Wandy out.
you also forget the 1st Rampage fight, Chuck was taking shots left and right, dude's got a hard chin, he just happened to get hit right on the money in the 2nd fight.

oh yeah, i agree chuck has got the knock out power. i also think wandi does to though. chuck has a good counter game as well but wandi is very good at smothering his opponets with his strikes i have a lot of respect for the both of them... i think who ever can get the other to play his game/fight his kind of fight would win... i would like to see it... its gonna be a good one....

I think Wandy backed off the Lidell fight is because if he losses to Lidell he would lose three in a row, He lost to Cro-cop and then Henderson. I don't think he wants that to happen.

chuck liddell is not overated. He has knocked out alot of good fighters. However I think the only way he would beat Wanderlei is to catch him on a bad day. Wanderlei at his best is unstoppable. If Wanderlei and Shogun Rua both crossover to UFC, 1 of them will be wearing gold before long

No no, sir, I don't think you understand how quotations work. You would have to put quotes around that statement if you had re-written it, an hour later, a day later, or a month later. So you see the quotations around the entire statement have nothing to do with what time period you are talking about. Besides, when I wrote "why'd you say yesterday!?" that was not a serious argument, it was a joke that i knew would piss you off.
