This was the first time that I have ever seen a tractor come detached from the sled. I didn't know this could ever happen. I've seen the chains pulling the weight box forward break, wheels break off and engines explode, but I can honestly say I have never seen a pulling vehicle come detached from the sled.

If you listen to the sound of the engine, as soon as it breaks away from the sled it spools down. Broke free at ~55 sec, stopped moving at ~1:07. Seven second spool down isn't quick. Bitch don't die so quick.

He did NOT hit the fuel cutoff dude...he pulled the power back and then after it got back on its feet, he hit the cutoff switch. I am a pilot and I use to fly turbins...they turn NO WHERE Near 150,000 rpm. Damn dude...if you are going to run your mouth...at least know what you are running your mouth about. The cut off was engaged by a simple rope that connects the sled and the "kill switch" of the tractor. It in fact took the engines too long to spool down. Since that, single shaft turbines are banned from tractor pulling and only free power (helicopter) turbines are legal to use.

They turn about 40,000 RPM. Yes, it still takes a little while for the inertia to die down even after the fuel is shut off. Watch airliners at the airport. Sometimes the fans are still turning 1/2 hour after shut-off.
