At 27 seconds it states that "plastic bags containing recyclable materials are opened in the pre-sort area and emptied onto the conveyor". But I live in Frederick County, where the single stream recycling program (which uses this WMRA facility) explicitly states that bagged materials are NOT accepted for recycling, since the sorting facility cannot process them. Can anyone explain this conflicting information?
