This move can also get you fatally killed. If you are in a massive dogfight you will be an EASY target when your looping. Trust me, on an old game called ACE OF ACES, I would lose speed looping and be an easy target for other enemies
@newsupersammyspider Absolutely right. You never want to be at a standstill in a large engagement because you make such an easy target, but 1 v 1 its fine.
@Requiem10NS oh yeah, 1 vs 1 is a perfect time to try the move. Its also called an immalmen turn. Course after a while my enemies learned the move so when I looped they did. We would always meet upside down at the top of the loop.
a MASTERFUL display of Airmanship! i have watched and faved ALL of your training and demonstration films, and will continue to do so. =) thank you for all the help in completing my understanding of these maneuvers.
@Requiem10NS =) thank you for the encouragement! I have, up to this point, been flying with my Xbox 360 Gamepad for Windows, which has proved to be most inadequate! so, i have finally ordered a Logitech G940, and shall receive it tomorrow! =)
holy crap, i was skeptical but this really works well! you end up having the drop as no matter what the enemy does you have the ability to roll out or dive upside-down... the enemy cant escape.
Is the looper's turn tighter after rolling out because he's closer to his corner speed, or for some other reason? Just trying to bounce this all off of what I already know about jet fighters.
its not tighter, the enemy plane got around 3/4 of a 360 degree turn when the looper was halfway around, this is because the looping plane bleeds energy but gains potential as it gains altitude, a fair trade off. The difference is the top plane can then follow the enemy and not get caught trying to out turn it. see ya in the air :D

Nice videos, beautiful speaking voice. One thing, you cannot teach shooting like that. Awesome, no other word for it.
