  • First gig I ever went to was Big Country in Dublin when I was 14. Had to tell my mother I was going to a science exhibition with the school ! What a night, what a band, what a shame Stuart Adamson is no longer with us- pure class !!

  • The Best..what more can one..amuscian who aspries to this..can bes said...these guys are sooooo underrated!!!!!

  • abolute legends of the 80s and still sound the best

  • Everybody's dancing, that's the only spirit u must ever known, it's the best the most original, its the harvest & the divine one . . go all into it / enjoy . . here's eternity , come on board =)

  • Did you hear the news?!

Big Country are touring in early 2011!!!

  • I remember this at the time - they deserved the acolyde of having a live set go out live on BBC2 at the time - best live act around at the time, I saw them on this tour at Wembley Arena on Friday 12th December 1986 - my 1st ever gig, and it remains the best gig I've been to. This particular is a barnstromer.. Why has Angle Park not been uploaded from this concert. Big song that one.

  • @sodacakeblues That night was my first ever gig as well. Truly amazing night. I lost count the amount of times I saw them after that. My daughter has music in the blood but I cannot get through to her the emotions felt at the time that will never be repeated. Can't belive it is nearly 10yrs since we lost the big man

  • what a great song how sad stuart has gone sadly missed

  • Fantastic, especially the extended instrumental at the end, the way the bass dances around the main melody line is incredible.

  • epic...

  • That Les Paul Stu`s playing has an awesome tone!Come to think of it i wonder whats happened to all Stuarts guitars?Seen him playing some very nice ones over the years...?An ex Stuart Adamson Yamaha SG2000 would be well worth having!Peace ye`all!

  • I used to have this on video. I remember taping it off BBC2. It was such a bad copy but I still watched it all the time though. Made the mistake of lending it to someone and haven't seen it since. Thanks for uploading this. I would so love to have this on DVD.
