  • 1 more year and this is me :) 82 average with lots if sports involvement. I hope i get in to RMC

  • How long is the training? 3 months? 4 years??

  • @XxCCtinaxX Nvm, I just read the description d: Though I still have a question. Will I have to be bilingual for this? o_o If so then I'm screwed D:

  • @XxCCtinaxX Yah I think so. After basic officer training is finished than (depending on how well you speak French) you may have between 2 to 9 months of 2nd language training. I'm learning french already so I won't have to take time learning French once I'm done with basic officer training. It does sck, I agree. However, think about the fact that Canada has 2 main languages (English and French). Check Out the website for the canadian armed forces; their website comes in both english and french.

  • @MsReneeMonique aw noooo, I've only taken french in grade 9 and I'm halfway thru grade 11 now. Even then I only managed to pass it with a 62% oh well, I'll just learn it then d: thanks for the info!! :D

  • @XxCCtinaxX I'm in grade 11 as well; halfways done. I know how you feel. I managed a C in grade 10 and again this year. When I'm in college I'm planning to perfect (at least try lol) my french than. For me, it's completely worth it. I have no intentions of serving in the U.S. military what-so-ever. Canadian Armed Forces all the way!!! I'm sure you'll figure it out. :) Good Luck! :)

  • @XxCCtinaxX 13 weeks. Than you go on to your job training. For example: I plan to be a pharmacist officer, so I will go onto pharmacist training.

For me it's one year that is the pharmacist training. So not excited about that. What are you planning to do in the Forces? Also, which branch?

  • This looks like a complete joke compared to Sandhurst.

  • Terrorist training camp.

  • if i already paid for 4 year of university will they give me the tuition amount i paid in return for becoming an ROTC?

  • "We felt more like a member of the Canadian Forces" Yeah well your beret still looks like a fucking shit show

  • How old did officer candidate Elizabeth Tremblay say she was (at 4:07)? Was it 30 or 40? I can't quite make it out. Is there a max age limit for candidates?

  • @aerhearts Not really, as long as your body can handle it then you can be stationed. She said she was 40 which is nearing the limit but obviously they deemed her in well enough shape to carry on.

  • @aerhearts 40 ans

  • I am evidentially not too lazy to look up information, I just don't believe your bullshit story about Canadian generals making a million bucks a year! LOL! Man, people like to shoot the shit! LOL!

  • @mrwonderfulman2011 between American and Canadian pay rates. Go get the info and you'll see it's that easy.

  • I already gave you all the info you needed if your too lazy to do something so simple such as typing a few words into google then the military probably isn't for you. And if you somehow can't find it and are considering the army they'll give you everything you need at the armoury.

  • @subatomicparticlephy LOL! Even a US Army Major General (2 star) makes anywhere from $102 000 to $160 000 ... I received this information from "Major generals are classified as O-8 on the military pay scale, which means a salary ranging from about $8,500 to $13,000 per month, depending on years of service." according to a website called Army Major GeneralThird in Chain of Command written by Gaiutra Bahadur. Now, where in the hell are you getting your bullshit information from???

  • @mrwonderfulman2011 I got mine from a canadian source, the fort york armoury. Canada probably pays better since alot less people are willing to join the military, especially people with university degrees. I don't understand how you could bring up American salaries when we are talking about Canadian salaries. If you wanted to prove that the Canadian salaries are lower because the American salaries are lower than you would have to prove a high correlation value between the pay scale over time ..

  • @subatomicparticlephy LOL! Well, that is the only source I could find and I would assume that the pay scales would not been that much different on account the US puts so much money into their military!! If anything, I would ASSUME that Canada would pay their officers less, but I do know that what you said is complete bullshit! Back in the 1990 when I joined the regular force, PPCLI, I knew a MCPL who had to go to a food bank because he was not making enough money to support his family!

  • do officers train separately from regular recruits?

  • @SuperEpicWin Yes, they train in the same place (in the reg force, anyway), and the courses are similar in length and content, but Officer Cadets and Recruits are segregated into different training platoons with independant command structures. Also, Officers get treated a little better, but are expected to take more responsability for their course's administration and are put in charge of a section during their field excercises.

  • Obvious troll is obvious LOOOLLLLSSSSS

  • i can't wait until i'm 18. I'll be joining the officer program and I'll finally be able to put myself through the greatest test of my life.

  • @Carlito564 good luck, it's a lot harder to get in then you think. Countless people aren't accepted

  • I'm joining as a reserve infantry officer... at the Montreal royal regiment.... so excited for it.... loved your video

  • As an officer, will I still be on the front lines fighting the enemy? Or will I be at a base planning attacks?

  • @fightingBRITISH Im not in the military myself though I think it depends on how high is your position in the chain of command.

  • are your meals paid for during training programs? like the basic training program.

  • People who serve in the Canadian Forces don't give a SHIT about anyone else in Canada except maybe their families and I can't say I blame them ... BUT, when idiots tell me that I should be so lucky to have people fighting/dying for my freedom, I get a real laugh! Most of these guys/gals who join are those who just want to get the hell out of their small hometowns and learn a trade so they will find work later on. They don't give a crap about their country! They just want a pat on the back!!

  • I really want to try out...

  • A pass on the cf express beep test is easy (only a six). If you plan on attending rmc though you have to get a nine and a half. That's for guys for girls it's four on the cf express and seven and a half on the cmc.

  • anyone who can talk shit about the cf or anyone who does what they do is undeserving of them, and the military is a great way to feel great about yourself, turn your life around, and a good field to have a career in

  • whats a pass on the beep test?

i started smoking when i was in high school, i kno i will have trouble, but is it a bad thing if i smoke?

  • @MrJrMcLovin A lot of CF members smoke. Not smoking will help you in the long run. I believe it is a 4.5 or soemthing like that.

  • What would the police do if we got invaded by another country arest them all ? and for your information Ive done four years of law university so when I come back im sure ill be making more money then your pathetic ass

  • @awesomeguy1979 What? Is that really what you think? "military sucks .. go flip burgers..."? Some may think differently than others. It is understandable that you do not want to join the military but rather work in a fast food restaurant. But it is very disrespectful when you start insulting the men and women who give their lives to protect and fight for this country. Men and women who are putting their life in danger for the safety of us. They are the Guardians of Freedom.

  • @awesomeguy1979 Nobody wants to die, but at the same time wants to help protect Canada, contribute to international peace and security, bring the best available military resources from across Canada to bear on a crisis or threat, wherever it occurs, nation-wide. That is the mission of the Canadian Forces.

  • @awesomeguy1979 If you think flipping "burgers" can make more money than the CF.. Think again. The CF not only fully pay for your University and College education including books, academic equipment and a salary while you are in school but also other salary with benefits such as full health and dental care, moving costs, accommodations and meals, allowances, vacation, leisure time, equipment, personal support, and pension.

  • @private007chief So do A LOT of civilian jobs genius AND you don't have to get shot at and live in a dirty, fucking bivouac with a bunch of dudes that say "Hey man, my rifle is giving me a boner!" LMAO! I don't know who you're trying to convince on this channel big guy??? You must think everyone is stupid?? Anyone can get into the military!! Try becoming a police officer ... it's much, much more competitive because smarter people know it's a better career! Maybe you just like being around dudes?

  • @awesomeguy1979 The salary of CF member depends on their rank and position. Once promoted, the salary can sometimes increase by a great amount.

Next time, do some research before sitting behind a computer and start fucking talking shit about the military.

  • @private007chief Just delete the comment.

  • @ShadowDeathBl1tz true say

  • @private007chief salary starts at 55k a year... then in 5 years it increases to 75-80k when ur a captain

  • @awesomeguy1979 I hope this helps your just a pussy ass bitch who hides at home behind a computer screen. these men and women are amongst the bravest in the country we are risking our lifes for minimal pay so bitches like you can walk down a street withought being raped so shut your mouth and have some fuckign respect

  • @caninfantry Bums like you join the military because they can't find anything else to do in the real world ... just look at the way you spell and the lack of respect you have for Freedom of Speech. You are obviously uneducated and love to complain ... enjoy your pissed off life in the military ... I am sure they're happy to have people like you! Cheers!

  • @awesomeguy1979 you can't be an officer in the military unless you have a university degree

  • @caninfantry We also have police services to deal with domestic issues on the street ... the Canadian Forces are not the only service in Canada that works thank you very much! Maybe you're the one who needs to do some research and get your facts straighten out? Have a nice evening!

  • @caninfantry You moron! No one is fighting for MY freedom! I make respectful decisions everyday and work to support my own future and freedom pal! Canada couldn't fight a war without A LOT of help from somewhere else! They can't even afford to pay their soldiers decent wages or supply them with quality equipment either! I care more about the police force keeping peace in my own community than the fucking useless military! Go back to school and get an education you bum! Go cry to someone else!

  • @awesomeguy1979 your gutless ...

  • @awesomeguy1979 What a contradiction, yes, maybe they will stay alive longer, but only to a point we are defenseless to the amount of Military personnel you are trying to convert to flipping burgers, and with that, don't have a strong military force.

  • @awesomeguy1979 FYI, these guys are protecting YOU! Risking their lives for YOU. They know the risk and I'm sure that for every CF member it is an honor to serve in such a country and is well worth dying for. Personally I believe it would be an honor to die for Canada. Applying this summer btw, reserves 1st. ;)

  • @PowerRussia4eva You sound like a complete tool my friend! No one is risking their lives for ME! Canada gives military aid to devastated countries and supports the North American Treaty Organization. Go ahead and serve! You will make peanuts and be treated like dog shit unless you're a military officer with a university education! No one except your family will care if something happens to your ass pal! Go ahead tough guy! You will probably get released anyway! Don't get too excited! LOL!

  • @awesomeguy1979 I will serve. As an Officer. If you think you're so tough behind a computer, you go try and get through bmq. I would like to see you try. And every member that signs up, as an officer or a member is dedicating themselves to a cause. If you are that narrow-minded I think you should move to the USA, you'll fit right in.

  • @PowerRussia4eva You must have lived a really sad, depressing life my friend! Enjoy your bliss! LOL!

  • @awesomeguy1979 Reply withhin 10 min of me posting. Oh god go outside.

  • @PowerRussia4eva And you replied back within 5 minutes! Learn how to spell genius! I very much doubt you have any education at all and if you do ... consider asking for a refund! Well, I guess I forgot ... it certainly doesn't take much education to join the Canadian Forces! LMAO! Take care sweetie pie! Also, just to follow up with your amusing reply from before ... I have served in the Canadian Forces. I spent my three years in the PPCLI from 1998 to 2001. You're not half the man I am pussy!!

  • @awesomeguy1979 Just so you know you are arguing with a 17 year old. And I am planning on being an officer. I have a hard time believing you serving in the military. You come on youtube and trash the very military you fought for. You do not possess officer qualities. So you sir, need to calm down, and go do something else. If you are happy flipping burgers then good job, good for you. But don't come on here and trash the people that are ready to defend Canada if a threat comes up.

  • @PowerRussia4eva Hey pal, you are the one who got in my face first! I have a right to give my opinion about the military. All I did was post one simple comment about how it's much easier to flip burgers than to serve in the forces and consequently, I get replies telling me how I should be so grateful. When I was your age, I felt the same way about the military, before I found out the military was not all it's cracked up to be! Try it out before posting anymore comments! Have a nice day champ!

  • @awesomeguy1979 Hey bud! The Military isn't for everybody,it can be too tough for "some people",hope you enjoy flipping your burgers! Good luck. Oh,and you have to get a HS diploma to go to Military College,so everything you stated was incorrect. Attacking spelling is a poor weapon, and makes you look desperate! Ignore comments you don't like, and have some respect for your fellow man & servicemen!

  • @25Milimeter Okay friend! Well said and I do have respect for the military! When I served over a decade ago, I had a bad memories there and just wanted to share my experience with the people who are thinking of joining up! Most people I met especially in the combat arms team did not have much respect for the men and women working as civilians and I don't appreciate that much either! Anyone who makes an honest living in Canada is serving their country! This will be my last reply on this channnel!

  • @awesomeguy1979 more money....flipping burgers?

  • @awesomeguy1979 wow where do you flip burgers? You make over $70 000 a year flipping burgers, must be a new promotion by Mcdonalds

  • @subatomicparticlephy Huh? What military job would pay that much? LOL! I think I would rather flip them burgers!

  • @mrwonderfulman2011 Actually every single officer position does. After your 4 years your guaranteed $69 500 then it goes up every year after that and then you also get tax free bonuses and signing bonuses. But you start off making $48 000. If you become a general they make a shit load of cash, massive signing bonuses and tax free bonuses then plus their flat rate. If you include everything they make the equivalent of about $800 000 to a mill a year, but almost noone becomes a general and you...

  • @subatomicparticlephy So now you're looking for the easy way out? You just made a bullshit statement saying "If you include everything they make the equivalent of about $800 000 to a mill a year, but almost noone becomes a general ..." That is such a lie!

  • @mrwonderfulman2011 had to of been in the military for 15+ years. The pension is good, it's great if your in for 20 years or more, at 20 years your guaranteed at least $70 000 per year.

  • @subatomicparticlephy Doing what job/trade? Provide some proof to your statement! Also, many jobs offer benefits and good pensions if you're in a job for a long enough time! Convince me that the military is the best way to go!

  • @awesomeguy1979 Whats worse Serving for you're Country, or Serving Burgers that will make the old woman in the back have a heart attack?

  • @Majoraspirit At least flipping burgers you will stay alive!

  • @cutecanadianchick94 We're all going to die someday so why does it matter if you flip burgers or not? You choose your own fate, and YOU don't choose other peoples by telling them what to do.

  • @Majoraspirit U would be a good grunt! Enjoy! hehe

  • @cutecanadianchick94 TERRORIST!!!

  • @Majoraspirit LOSER!!!

  • @cutecanadianchick94 Chill out

  • @awesomeguy1979 this coming from someone who flips burgers, and probably shoves them down his pie hole like there is no tomorrow, and will die by age 50 from heart disease due to obesity, excessive video games and masterbation.

  • @awesomeguy1979 Hmmm... min.wage with no or little benefits, or Cf with more money and more benefits? what should I do, oh and I get the satisfaction of knowing I will die fighting for my countrys freedom......

  • i would say a prospective officer is wise to see the world. so heres Amazigh people>>>watch>>"EL BAHDJA MARRAKECH 2010.AMAZIGH WOMEN.OULED AND BNAT BLADI.MOORISH LAND ".....................welcome to the Rai scene.

  • fuck i cant wait till basic

  • @Kelertasable damn you need a life son!

  • @awesomeguy1979 what the fuck is wrong with joining the military. its gonna be my job. my LIFE is gonna be protecting this country. what are you gonna do with your life? you're probably gonna be on welfare, work a boring desk job, be a failed athlete or a blue collar guy. take your pick. but when the world gets fucked up, ill be happy i joined the military.

  • You spelled training wrong.

  • @mytotallyawesomename Racist much?

  • @misshallsschool Fuck off.
