When someone writes it doesn't come across the same way as when you speak to someone in person. When you wrote "I notice this about Hispanics alot, they dont care who's around or who they might be offending",that automatically gave it a racist overtone,instead you should of said "I notice this about people that speak other languages a lot".
To avoid a heated discussion word your responses with a bit more tolerance, and you will get a positive response. I agree that if you are around people that don't speak another language and you start to speak to someone else in that group in that language is poor etiquette and down right rude but if you would look and examine the what HispanicAvenger is trying to equate, (continued next response)

harmless the character begins the conversation in english then goes to spanish because perphaps that is what he is used to doing..and later on fig is in the movie again during the scene when they are trying to fight off the first robot; he is injured and the rest of the soldiers find him and aid him the best they can..so to me that moment showed that they would take care of one

Countless Latinos have died for the USA and the right of Freedom of speech, that includes speaking in any language you so desire. When I'm told to speak English during a private conversation that someone else may over hear I tell them to speak in any of the many Native American languages since those are still the only true languages of this whole continant

I am only one person I don't speak for other Hispanics, but I do have an opinion on the matter. I took my two children to see this movie and practically at the start of the movie this comes up (A WARNING DON"T SPEAK SPANISH).
It didn't seem like a running joke to me the way that Lieutenant warned Fig no Spanish. This movie is for everyone but more for children, I feel this was inappropriate. HispanicAvenger has a point and I do feel like HA, they had an agenda with this message (Continued).
