how did you convert the files so that you could use it on your mac? mine is also a sony hd camcorder but... my macbook pro won't read the mts files ? HELP??

I didn't convert my files I just plugged in my camcorder en my macbook pro, Imovie and even Final Cut Express 4 just recognized it. what OS version do you run? I'm use snow leopard and Imovie '09. Maybe this is where the problem lies? I know that Imovie '08 does not support the Mts files so let me know maybe we could figure something out so it will work

@octokizz : hi, i read on youtube that you can not play mpg files on your hard drive from your sony camcorder, using iMovie. Does it work when you plug the camcorder directly to your Mac? Are you using a Macbook Pro and camcorder Sony HDR-CX11e ? Thanks
