I am sooo truly sorry for your & your families loss. I too lost a child to ARPKD, Kolby Brian, on June 22, 2001. He was only with us for 15minutes before GOD took him to be in Heaven with him, but I have & always will treasure every minute we were able to share with him, & he is forever in our hearts. I have since had a beautiful daughter, Kassie Lynn, who is perfectly healthy and is now 8yrs old. My heart goes out to you always.

I am so sorry for you guys, as I know exactly how you feel. Our firstborn He was a boy names Tristan was also born with ARPKD, and lived for 7 weeks in the icu. We also miss him everyday and will always cherish him in our hearts. Since then we had a healthy boy he is now 5 years old, and a girl she is 2 years old, she was also born with ARPKD but is doing very well. A real pillar of strenght. Our prayers go out to you. I cant even begin to imagine your sadness and your loss. Your family must share a very beautiful strength to hold each other up. I have heard that when children are lent to us for a short time..that they are truley Angels sent from heaven.

My son has just turned 2years old, and he is loosing his mummy to PKD, I grieve for him.. although I am still holding him, its hard knowing that soon I will have to let him go

I had PKD and I was supposed to die at 12 months the doctors said I had no chance of living. It really is sad that other kids died when I didnt but i dont know what happened neither does my mom. They just told her that the kidney dissapeared along with the PKD.

Thanks for sharing your angel with all of us! My husband and I just had a baby last August with polycystic kidney disease but he has the dominant form instead. It runs on my side of the family. I cried through this video. We pray for a cure. May you have comfort and know that God has a special plan for all of us.
