I believe we have been asked to leave Iraq in 2010. I'm sure you're familiar with the cold war (Afghanistan & Soviets). At the end of the cold war in 1993 Afghanistan was basically destroyed. There were no roads, no schools...We were asked to stay and help rebuild. GREAT POINT. Who would Jesus abort? Their image of Jesus is of a hippie flower child. Jesus was clear, and His mission was relative to people and restoring our relationship with God. If these people ever bothered to read the entire Bible, in context, it would be plainly evident to them that not only does God support just wars to protect the innocent, He mandates it. The ten commandments are a great thing to live by, i agree. Except for the first, second and third commandments. Those three commandments only revolve around God and aren't neccesary for living a moral life. So God isn't neccesary for living a moral life. You can say God gave us the commandments but there is no empirical proof. Also people live by God and do horrible things. So living by a set code of ethics is good, but it doesn't have to be God

We can confirm this by looking at our beautiful surroundings: the sun, plants, animals, vibrant colors...But, He gives something special to the believer! He gives His Holy Spirit. God's Holy Spirit brings us holiness and purity (among many other things) that cannot be obtained without Him. A young child is a good example of God's purity. It is only their flesh that causes them to be unhappy at times.

I believe we have been asked to leave Iraq in 2010. I'm sure you're familiar with the cold war (Afghanistan & Soviets). At the end of the cold war in 1993 Afghanistan was basically destroyed. There were no roads, no schools...We were asked to stay and help rebuild. We left, allowing the Taliban and Bin Laden to become a dominant force in Afghanistan with some of the weapons ending up in the hands of the Taliban. Some contribute this to 9/11.

Hello. What these people are doing is a double edged sword. Their conduct has two affects. 1. It worsenes the moral of our troops 2. It gives aid and comfort to our enemies during a time of war. This is why I say that these people are guilty of sedition and treason. They even state that what we are doing in Afghanistan is "Militarism." Our troops don't just go to war on a whim. You are wrong in your claim that there was no declaration of war. Irag War Rosolution Public Law 107-243, 116 Sat 1497-1502 was passed by Congress to give the President the authority to formally declair war in Iraq. How can you claim that my opinion is void. cont.-should we have gone there in the 1st place- not sure, but we can't just pull out b/c we R not "winning" in the traditional way. If we do- all the people in that country who have helped us will B forced in2 hiding & for generations their future families will B tortured & killed. If we keep doing that 2 people, then no1 will trust us & once you've lost that...well then when you REALLY nned help, no1 will help.

If we win this fight for their freedom, they will no longer fear getting killed - in peacetime - by their own leaders, simply for believing what they think is right, and saying what they believe is true. War is a terrible thing - but we fight for what we believe in. "Turning the other cheek" doesn't mean we have to allow injustice to rule.
