  • i am a very Big Fan of yours. i always try different dishes like paneer pasanada, Mutton Biryani..and really tasted delicious when i made ..but i have 1 query that 1st time, it was very very good..but next time, when i made mutton briyani the i could not figure out the quantity of masala or preparation quantity..due to that masala was less compare to rice.. if you can tell Preposition for mutton briyani that would be really great..also i would suggest please put Preposition along with the video

  • Hey @vahchef, is it possible to make a chicken/mutton biryani over a water bath??

  • i just love this guy, makes my day haha

  • Always great! We have started using whole grain brown rice. But it is not available when we go out for indian. I watch some of your shows XX times when I try one of your dishes. Always winners. Thank you!

  • Chef , Europeans eat boiled vegetables without salt and they find it delecious lol

  • wow! hungry!

  • Gah! i knew i shouldn't have watched this hungry... I wish i had a big plate full of it.

  • vah chef " MY GURU GI" i followed the recipe. the masala came out good but while putting it in the layer by layer procedure i don't know what went wrong the rice did not get the flavor at all. ( my rice was already cooked 90 % was this the reason )

but the masala was very good so i had my every bite with some veg. i would like the rice to cook in salt water .so then the rice will get some salt as we do for mutton biryani.

  • hi sanjay u r great ur recipes wow realy ur genius i love ur recipes

  • Yourfriendsomething: at 52 seconds he added "shahi-zeera". This is cumin seeds; often used also in Mexican cuisine. Recipe looks great; I like to add green peas too.

  • Please add salt to the rice while boiing.

  • I love that food but im eating different indian food right now. Im eating kechoori if i spelled that right. It is rice made with lentil. And with it im eating sweet butter chicken

  • i love dis show ...........

  • i like you recepes this realy nice tanks i want try cooking

  • Vah reh vah... it was too gud!!!!! thanks for the reciepe.

  • toooooooooooo. muuuuuuuuuuuuch. saaaaaaaaaaaaaaaalt.

And you annihalate the english language.

  • @Brighteyes1ful well, it is salt to taste... i take recipes such as this, and change it accordingly. another way to cut back on sodium is to use liquid amino acids. basically healthy soy sauce, added when the veggies are cooking. i also prefer the green chili to be sauteed more, w/ the veggies, rather than added raw.

  • Superb ....... mouth watering. I am going to try it today.

  • very good! Moroccan fan from the Netherlands!

  • watching this makes my mouth water

  • hi

i am sorry to say you that. this is not the way to make a veg biryani . if you really want to how to to cock. plz mail me..... leo_kam7@hotmail.co.uk

  • OMG...my mouth is watering....looking absolutely delicious n I can imagine its lovely aroma as well

  • yeah!

  • Great Recipe... Just a quick question... you mentioned in the video that you are able to put the Vegetable Biryani in the oven (instead of steaming it in another pan of water)... how long do I cook it in the oven for? I have a standard conventional oven and normally I cook in the oven at 200 degrees c. Thank you so much for all your hints and tips and your recipes are fantastic :) :)

  • I love the way that you respond to your food-- especially when you are tasting it.

  • please dont eat infront of us..........

  • cool man,,,, i like that ,,, thanks

  • Thanks for teaching all the delicious meals. One favor I would like to ask is that since all the indian spices are not known to some of us, could you write the names on the screen please. Thanks so much...

  • thanks for inside tips chef..

  • Chef which masala r u using ? can v make it at home

  • @theshri619 First of all don't write in caps it makes you look like you crying out for attention. Secondly if you think another chef is a better cook then go watch him instead. Thirdly why swear just because this chef doesn't come up to your personal standards. The fact that you have an extreme and irrational aversion to homosexuality and homosexual people leads one to believe that you should seek the services of a good therapist. So take your vile language and pedal it elsewhere you ignoramus.

  • a lot of ingredients never seen b4...

  • Where is the recipe please, I don't understand much what he says but it looks delicious, I need the measurements of ingredients.

  • i 've just been ur clip. i liked ur clear n cut explaination. keep giving us a more recipe on vege..items. 'cos i am vegetarian gal. thx alot.

  • can u plz send me ur number , i really want to talk 2 u sir... thanks ....(Tejpal singh melbourne , Australia)

  • slow down you are going to fast.

  • I love the fact that you make an over complicated dish such as biryani so simple! Other biryani dishes are so complicated that I never want to try them but this one I did. Also, in the last part instead of cooking on the stove top I put the whole thing in the oven at 350 for about 15 minutes and it turned out to be really good! Thanks!

  • Hey #UN#, I love your channel! Keep up the good work! Let's stay in touch and become friends! Feel free to Subscribe, Like, Comment, and make Favorite to my YouTube Vids too!! <3

    Reeja

  • its jst so beautifully presented....recipe is superb as well the way it had been told...awesome!!!

  • wonderful recepie ... but i still struggle to cook it after putting in layers... its getting burnt.

  • Be careful while putting the whole shan masala biryani packet as it will make the biryani very spicy.I tried making biryani exactly the same way but it turn super spicy. Next time I will be adding 1/2 of the packet:-)

  • Thank you so much for this recipe we made it today. It was really awesome. God bless you!

  • I love your stuff but I have to say that in years to come salt will be exposed as the killer of men. You don't need salt. Eat as much of it as you want when you're young but when you hit 40 STOP. It's one of the leading causes of high BP. I havent eaten salt out of a salt shaker for 2 years and when I go out to eat I'm shocked how much salt is in in everything. It's a palette thing. If you stop your taste buds finally get used to it.

  • @ospTube: I agree that too much salt can be bad for health; but, too little salt is also bad. Salt is essential for the brain to send electrical signals to the muscles, etc. Without salt, the muscles cannot function, and people will feel weak. In hot weather, people lose a lot of salt through sweating, etc. and salt needs to be replenished. Vegetables and meat certainly contain salt already, but you may also need to add a little more. One can cut down on salt without eliminating it completely.

  • @ospTube Your body needs salt, its just that you and a lot of other people have no understanding of the different kinds of salts and there nutritional values, crappy table salt is whats killing you... real salt such as sea salt and rock salt is very good for you so you should be eating it.

  • chef, please tell me if you drained off the excess water from rice? As well, if I want to cook it without having to drain out any water, how much of water should I had for a given quantity of rice.

It would be really nice of you if you would give out the ingredients of Briyani Masala. I avoid using packed masalas and prefer fresh ground masalas of home.

  • @AnonAngelic you need to strain it and add your wifes pussy juice

  • you talk to much !

  • @Ginana100 hahahah , that true , more than cooking he do the talking hehe

  • I always follow your cooking and have used your style and works out tooo gooood ...is that shaan masala you have used for veg biriani

  • can some one plz tell me.........if we put the pot in conventional oven...how long should we leave in it

  • Despite my not using enough yoghurt- nor having basmati rice- or bread to fry- and other little mistakes- It still tasted out of this World! Next time I'll get it right and it'll be delicious beyond words-

  • I like this guy already. :D

  • This turned out fabulous. however it would have been great to know how long to put it in the water. I put mine in the oven and the toasts went soggy. will do it again for sure

  • you should be more specific on your ingredients......

  • Great!!!

  • dose any1 knows what's masala means ?

  • my favourite food is indian despite the fact that i have never even been to india. my wife has learnt to make beautiful dhaal and we were looking for a biryani recipie, and watched yours. not only your food looks nice, but we are both impressed by your enthusiasm about good food and cooking. yes, good food can make people cry :)) best wishes from good food lovers from land down under

  • Chef,

I tried this recipe.. however the veg. curry turned out to be a bit dry. What happened was.... once I put the masala, the veggies became too dry. I did add the yogurt and also some water but it was still dry. I think it would've been helpful if the ratio of rice/ water/ yogurt was given. Well.. anyways..overall, the taste was awesome, though.

  • nice videos and tips on how to make.. makes things easy for freshers like me.

can u post some recipes with less oil, masala, onions and garlic.. (kind of healthy stuff).

  • @priyavb garlic is one of the healthiest ingredients in the world! And what is so unhealthy about onions, masala, etc?

  • @priyavb if u want recipes without oil, masala, garlic, onions... then u r not looking for indian recipes.. why dont u search for american, italian recipes.... pastas, salads look good for u ( healthy types, u see )

  • @sweetythebest yeah.. but it is a fact that more than half of the south indians do not include onion and garlic in their daily cooking and still make great stuff everyday.

  • @sweetythebest Ayurvedic cooking uses very little oil, little garlic and some use little onion, and spices are used in accordance to your body type, depending on your body type some spices are good for you while others aren't , while other spices maybe good for someone elses body type. Actually mordern indian cooking is very different from ayurvedic cooking.

  • Vahchef. Im your big fan. Thanks you for showing this great Vegetable Biryani. Im cooking it now:) Should be ready in few minutes. Cant wait to try it!

    Bless!

  • Thanks buddy, I tried this one and it came exceptionally well. I never had such a good food ever before. However I cooked in Microwave so I didnt have the bottom portion getting overcooked.

  • wow he said asalamo 3alaykom he is really a nice man

  • Sanjay ,

Your way of cooking makes u a science graduate more than a chef.

So technical advising , I owe you a lot.

    Thanks for the concept VAHREVAH.

People when idle watch movies/songs in YOUTUBE.But myself, in addition I watch all your recipes.

As u say ,Vahrevah is all about inspiring. One day for sure , I ll learn a different reciepe and send it out to you

    Thanks much

  • This guy is just awesome for his enthusiasm and most of all for his thick Indian accent. I love it. I have seen and heard people ridiculing Indians speaking English. Of course you will have an accent cos your first language is other than English. Common sense - no need to ridicule. Can a native English speaker talk in another language without an accent. 10 million dollars for those who can.

  • I'm going to cook this today with frozen vegetables...haha. Hope it works!!!

  • Thank you Sanjay. It works really well.

  • i like the indian accent when they talk english

  • Thanks for your time and effort,Cheers keith in England
