Hey I've had this hard drive for a while and was using it on mac, no problems, no I have a pc and I cant get it to show me my files, says its only 110kb big :s is there a way of making it work for my PC without formatting it? Thanks.
sory, i cant help u on this one. but i can give u some guidance... u mentioned that u cant return it, well contact LAcie and see if they can do anything about it. the retail store is only the middle man. Lacie is actually LAZY, its a lousy product. i just bought a passport which contains 1tb for less price than Lazy...lol but if u are trying to recover ur files in it. download a recovery program from cnet.com
Hey man I bought the Lacie 1Tb external hard drive, and one thing that I noticed though when I plugged in my Windows XP that it only contained 32gb which was an outrage! Because i thought it lost all of that gbs worth and I couldnt return it anymore. Is there any way in which I could fix this problem? Please reply. Thanks!

the black boxes on top are my sub speakers and a 500gb. i also record music at the time, that is why i got the mic was on the desk. im just wondering why is the video here are blurry, but it was clear on my real video. mmmm
Do you have vista, XP, and or do u have mac book? what type of computer do u have?
my wild guess is that your computer and harddrive are not compatible together. however, if you can return it back to the store. return it. Why, because its not a good product.. you will have cord problem. i assure you.
I was happy when i got this because, i needed it at the time and it cost me a big amount. get back with me.

My friend fixed it for me. I'm not sure what he did but he changed a setting to make it pop up like a flash drive. sorry i couldn't be more help
