I love Feynmann so so much. Note that when Stephen Hawking refers to the promulgation of scientific method in the modern era he always quotes Feynman.

i am wondering if he ever had a sighting what he will be telling to the world about flying saucers , lobbying is easy , he was a true master on talking , telling the truth is much harder for a man in his position back then i guess
".. if he ever had a sighting what he will be telling to the world... "
- Ah, the old *If only you experienced what I experienced* line. Perhaps he would able to understand a "sighting"?
"... telling the truth is much harder for a man in his position back then... "
- A classic misunderstanding of science: the notion that people try to maintain the status quo out of fear of ridicule. Scientists would pounce at the chance to grab a Nobel for proving UFOs.
@bikos236590 Sighting is not an evidence or a proof of existence... nor the truth, of what our eyes can see. Anyway, I suggest to all you to read about scientific method. By the way, feynman was a scientist, ironically sarcastic at talks, but he was not a "preacher", WAS A SCIENTIST. If you don't understand what scientist said at talks do not comment. There is no more dangerous that an ignorant open mouth.
@pacoberetta the problem with modern day scientists is that they are not scientists at all because they do not use the scientific method at all ( if their is one to start with ) Robert Anton Wilson among others talked about this in great length, check the video in my channel , you see science evolved in a perceptual enterprise not primerely in gaining knowledge , knowledge appears but it is a byproduct and perception is linked with the observer with all his prejudices and beliefs
@bikos236590 "The scientist only imposes two things, namely truth and sincerity, imposes them upon himself and upon other scientists." -Schrodinger
Being on my way to becoming a theoretical physicist and part of the academia, I can confirm that scientific integrity is very strong within the physics community and science community in general. I’m not surprised seeing that an adult who believes in extra-terrestrial landings on earth would also believe such ludicrous theories about science.
I wouldn't say "dangerous". Firstly, because one would be committing a mistake by limiting the free speech of those he disagrees with, second because a person who knows no better to hide his ignorance will himself make himself look ridiculous, and because ignorance primarily damages the ignorent person himself. What is dangerous when there are a lot of ignorant people together, because it shileds them from the questions that would quickly reveal to them their lack of knowledge.
It's a shame that most of the world isn't 1/10th as intelligent as this guy.

Partly because we are raised without questioning things, we are brought up being told things are the way they are because they just are.

Philosophically, I actually think Feynman is being unreasonable here. In truth there is no way to adjudicate these claims more than pragmatically.

aSome people want young white females to mix with non-white males.
I made a one-minute video highlighting a very tiny sample of race-mixing advertisements.
I love white people, and I am opposed to race-mixing. But I do not hate non-whites.
