    I just got 400 yesterday at 157 body weight and I think I was just as excited as you were in this video.

  • Any fat ass can bench 400 when they bounce it off their chest and do a whole body arch to get it up. It only counts when it is lowered, touches the chest without bouncing and raised with proper form keeping the body on the bench. This is improper form and does not require half of the necessary strength to bench press 400 lbs. This is an embarrassment to true athletes and body builders.

  • Isn't the proper form to bench press, you're supposed to bring it down, let it TOUCH, not bounce on your chest, and then press.

    You're really good though, I couldn't even get it off of the rack. I'm 14 and my max in only like 185 ^ ^

  • @geordys1 Well your assuming I do nothing else and that i don't play any sports.Not true,I play softball and I golf.I agree if someone does nothing but bench press and does no other sports you will get that hunched over look.Also just because I post a lot of bench pressing vids doesn't mean i don't work the other lifts.I just don't post a lot of my other lifts.

  • I'm 14 and bench 205 for football I made the varsity team this year and it's my freshman year, is that natural because I have a great work ethic but I don't think it's good to be pumping 205 my freshman year because no one else I know did that much, I weigh 185, so respond please.

  • Usually to increase your bench 40 lbs or more you have to gain bodyweight.I would say increase your protein intake.Get a protein powder with 50 grams of protein a serving and take a couple a day.Also don't just bench to increase your bench.Work on exercises like dumbell bench,close grip bench,military presses,dumbell presses and rows for your lats because that's also very important.Also don't max out more than once a month.Maxing more than that will burn u out.
