Great stuff, but Mr. Morricone doesn't like the expression "Spaghetti Western". I know it for sure because I worked with him during a concert in Belgium.
Saw them yesterday performing at Tampere, Finland, and I had a very fun time. Great talented guys. I'm sure Ennio would approve... even if he detests the term "spaghetti western".
Shamanistic in its intensity: it would be as much a spiritual as a musical experience to perform and I'm not talking about conventional religion here. AAEEAAEEAHHH!
THe 1rst day the came to Greece i was in ...They performed in the badminghton theater ! They are really really really much better from close distance :) their faces ! they become "one" with the song !!
eh... These very talented, world-touring multi-instrumentalist Aussies are not "making fun" of ENNIO MORRICONE ~ the only 'film composer' to have his own tribute band.
The "fun" was inherent in the originals, and these fellas are major Morricone fans ~ as they say themselves on their website: "we don't parody the music". Instead they invoke the exhuberance of the originals.
Brill, this is for me ,wife said after wards watching jools holand i knew you liked it you were sitting with your jaw open ,andy williams , calvin harris , where else do you see this.
Great fun, trouble is can't get the damn tune out of my head since I saw them on Jooles Holland show few days ago! Been humming ayye ayye ay all round the supermarket and folks think I've gone mad
Great performers on stage. Lots of fun and nice interaction with the audience and most of all, respect to the original themes. When they come again in Athens I will certainly watch them again.
i was here just sitting in front of the guy at the right at one moment they asked someone that was going to the bathroom to come back or smthg like that it was one of my friends
I always assumed that trumpet solo in the original was recorded with the tape slowed down and then sped back up to sound that manic -- which would make the version we hear on the recording virtuablly unplayable in real ilfe.
This is a lot of fun, though what's up with the guy hawking and clearing his throat at the beginning? Surely there wasn't a spaghetti western with THAT in it!
I've seen them yesterday in paris. So great that I'm going back this week. Thanks to the CD, I can revive everay day the performance of this incredible band. Every one has to experience it!!
Okay -maybe? there is some hope for all the crap indy music out there -These guys are engenious and using a noodle or two,AND REALLY PLAY SOMETHING ...
Whoa..this is mind-blowing. Not only does this company capture the music of the Euro westerns, but they capture the spirit. I'd love to see this in America.
Perfect show, saw them in Hamburg, St. Pauli Theatre. They seem to tour the whole world. This song is also the encore, with the audience divided in two parts. One half sings the aiijaaijaaa and the other half the dadada. Great fun!
Superb! incredible! very good players.
Thanks for upload this, I whish someday we can see the show here, in argentina!
