There are several types of exploits, all of which use bugs and unsecured parts of software to install. In this case, the exploit used javascript on the webpage to try to download and run malware onto the computer without asking you if you want to download. Because of this you may not know you are infected. You will generally know exploits as blank or random web pages that promptly crash your browser.
Nice test, thanks! I'm a little bit sad to see the result of this soft... especially for advanced scan that can't catch rogues... Online armor ++ seems to be better finaly (especially for HIPS alerts).
hmmmmm zonealarm extreme security alerts are quite complicated. but for a normal user that is using this for their 1st time they mite get all confused seing these alerts but for an advanced user thay would be willing to read it.lol

I love OA++ because as long as you know how to use it there is practically no way to get infected.

I agree, i like a lot OA++ too . And OA free is also good, i have tested it in combo with Panda Cloud and it the result was good and light.

Zonealarm is great, it's great to prevent from hackers too. And remember you aren't using the full version, it's still doing an Amazing job.
And LOL at the rogue virus. Mom used zonealarm for many years and she never had any problems, great review, lol.
