Dutchie was one of the All Time Greats. We partied hearty in the 50's when he was Dutchie Mason and The Esquires. He was a great guy and always remembered his cronies..A Maritime Legend.
There are two ignorant pieces of crap here and (necroticpus and crosbystillsnash68) you make me sick. Dutch was physically not well and couldn't play guitar any longer because of the effects of his illness, but he kept on doing what he loved best, singing the blues. There is no way either of you two ingrates will ever achieve the talent and status of Dutch Mason a true Canadian legend and a fine man who cared about people.
@awoosoul I knew Dutchie years ago when I worked at The Palace Cabaret in Halifax,awesome man.He had gout,which eventually led to him having to put down his beloved axe (guitar).I feel fortunate that I actually got to see him play,he was an amazing bluesman.RIP Norman 'Dutch' Mason.
