Can someone told me why the sound of change gear like manual? same sound is happen in Singapore second hand atlanteans in Hong Kong but all of them are automatic
In the seventies and eighties we had hundreds of Atlanteans in Portsmouth. When the corporation was privatised in 1990, the Atlanteans were sold off and replaced with awful 16 seater Transit minibuses. I remember riding on the Atlanteans when I was a young child and always remember that roar. Luckily, we still had Leyland National mk ones in regular use up until 1998. These were replaced with plastic rubbish from then on. The Transits went when First took over in 95/96.

Very Nice ROAR!!!! You cannot beat the sound of atlanteans... especially at 35-50mph it sounds like a dive bomber. Is this bus still in service?

As far as I am aware this bus is Blackpool's very last Atlantean in service and still is. It is earmarked for preservation.
