It is a special person who can pull tears from grandparents, parents and children at their passing. The incredible outpouring of shock and grief at Elisabeth Sladen's untimely passing at the young age of 63 shows her to be such a special person.

She brought such heart to WHO. WHO has lost that lovely heart, and that's why we all feel the loss so deep in our own hearts.

God guide Lis in her journey beyond, and watch over her grieving family.

Love the Know-it-all-big-brother, feisty-kid-sister relationship between Dr#4 and Sarah. The father/daughter relationship between Dr#3 and Sarah was just as cute.

In looking at all 18 Sarah stories from Time Warrior through Hand of Fear, it's easy to see why "Sarah Jane" still rates as DW"s best companion, at least among those familiar with both the Classic and New Series. She is, hands down, the most competent and capable companion that the Dr has ever had.

Classic Who may have had shaky sets and SFX at times, but the story so absorbed you that you didn't notice.

Much as I appreciate the return of DW and the great look of the New Series, it is missing the superb storytelling of the era of DW shown here in Ark in Space. Many of the new stories would fall flat without CGI to prop them up, and the rush-rush scripting to hide story flaws.

What an incredible run of superb stories DW had from Ark in Space to Talons of Weng Chiang!
