  • @finbarmaginn Naul, just north of Dublin. He worked for the Irish Folklore Commission for many years, though, in which he would have been traveling all over Ireland.

  • @finbarmaginn No he is a finglas man,born on jamestown road finglas,he even has a road named after him outside the shamrock pub in finglas village north dublin.He did end his days in naul living in a mobile home, he called the grounds where it sat the easter snow ,there is a song about him of the same name "Easter snow" which christy moore sings.He was also liam o flynn,s teacher and left this set of pipes to liam could be a differnet set though but i think it was this set.
