I don't get it though - I mean with drum machines and shit, you can make awesome music like this, so why do people still opt for an entire band of like 4 or 5 people? Aren't they unnecessary?
Drum machines are extremely difficult to program well as you need to know what kind of drumming a song needs which most guitarists and bassists dont know as well as a drummer. Secondly music ends up better when more than one person blend their ideas together into something unique.
