learning(sweep and mid air turn)

In Enter the DRagon, Lee fakes Han with a knee kick, which prompts Han to take crane stance to block, then Lee follows up with this low sweep. I think it's a brilliant combo, but I cant get enough power to knockdown. Any suggestions? Just wind up harder?
