In my opinion, the best first person shooters out there would have to be : Call of Duty Halo, Half Life, Metroid Prime, and Quake. I have Halo 3, Half Life 2, Metroid Prime Hunters, and Quake Wars. I'm thinking about getting Call of Duty 2 for my Xbox 360. I used to have Call of Duty 2 for my PS2, it was called Big Red One, but it sucked ass. Never buy Call of Duty 2 Big Red One for the PS2 it sucks! But should I get Call of Duty 2 for my Xbox 360 even though I don't have Xbox Live?

10 to 15 hours for single player campaign! Holy shit thats short but is still 3 or 4 times longer than COD4 Modern Warefare 2 and its 5 hour campaign. COD went down hill. This was the last of the Great COD Games. All the COD's after this one absolutely sucked balls.

This guy is about as excited talking about this game as I would be. Not much to the game, just run, shoot, run shoot, no real variation on the whole thing. It was great at the time, but has really shown its age. But COD is the most overrated series in history anyway. Still a good series though.

Well since most people nowadays only play games because of the Multiplayer and the fact that the game is based upon the Multiplayer, I'm going to assume you're talking from the Multiplayer aspect. Anyways, continuing on with the perks. The purpose of perks are for the casual gamer. What I'm getting at is most people think they are pro on games like MW & MW2. They might be, for that game, but the real skill was back in the old school Call of Duty (specifically #2) games when everything was fair and tournaments didn't have to remove certain weapons from the games just because they were "noobish." Call of Duty 2 was, and still stands, the best Call of Duty ever.

I hope you are kidding, Call Of Duty 2 Big Red One for ps2, gamecube, xbox, was made by greymatters, which around the time of developement, became part of Treyarch, So it was made by Treyarch, Infinity Ward didn't buy out anything, they just took Modern Warfare and made it a different series, now Treyarch will handle the Call of Duty games, which they didn't ruin, not in the slightest. You're just an Infinity Ward fanboy. Nothing more.

I thought it was pretty good

only a few problems that I saw:

1)not very efficient, I have a 2ghz laptop with 2gb of ram and I had to turn the graphics down a bit.

2)bad physics, if I emty a thompson magazine onto a flower pot I expect it to break. although, this doesn't detract too much from the game

3)the tank sequence seemed a bit out of place, like it belonged in another game.

4)the d-day part was lame, IMO. both the cutscene and the 20ft beach.

other then that, great game.

overall 9/10

no theyre 2 completely different games. and btw it sucks for me i was on the first night level where you had to get to the second checkpoint and the disc gets stuck and always says disc unreadable in the middle of a cutscene every time even though the disc isnt even scratched. All other levels and features of the game work.
