The Evo is AWD, you clearly have no no idea what you're talking about. You can only really drift in a RWD. You can drift in an AWD but it doesn't handle near as well, doesn't look the same, and isn't really drifting. The reason RWD cars work best be because the front wheels don't need to drive the car, they only need to steer it. Don't be a little fan boy, make sure you know what you're talking about before you open your mouth, "Evo for drifting." Haha.

4wd suv is the worst to drift, you need a lightweight rwd drive car with the engine in front, stick shift, and to learn how to drift you only need to watch the drift bible by keiichi tsuchiya

front engine is not the only kind of car that can drift btw. But it is usually preferred. Oh u forgot an lsd. Open differentials are basically shit and with one u will do three things ebrake and slide your car very shortly, spin out, or go straight.

really do you drift and if so have you drifted in an open differential car. keichi also clearly says that after u learn to do a 90 and 180 degree turn with your EBRAKE, you should begin practicing 360s and says these require an lsd. Anything past your very frist month of drifting will require an lsd if you intend to practice any considerable amount of time. I do twice a week or so. You need an lsd to do any level of competitive drifting

theres a difference between learning to drift and competing in a drift event, i dont get why all these begginers wanna compete right from the start, you gonna end up crashing...drifting is not about doing donuts in a parking lot the origin of drift is about going fast in a turn and keichii does dynamic and brake drift, dont need any power or lsd to just slide, you need a good suspension setup to keep the car sliding and enough speed

my 86 has a bad ass stiff suspension on it but it can hardly break the tires loose cuz it need an lsd overhaul so i rest my case. now to everyone else if u wanna drift get an lsd. Power is the last upgrade you really need but lsd regardless of what this goon says is very important I have had open diff b4 and lsd so u can listen to him if u want.

MarTin3Z420  mooseboy is right you do need a limited slp diff! you must give both wheels the same signal!!! otherwise a regular diff used in evryday RWD street cars drags the wheel on the outer side of the apex. why? because your car tilts in that dirrection hence inner wheel spins like fcuk. outer wheel has traction...baaaaddd what youre trying to say is that you can powerslide with a reg.

depending on where you live there are schools but my advice just go to a huge parking lot and figure out yourself. i just turned 15 a month ago and already bought myself a really nice z already but i have been practing how to drift at the local horse racing track parking lot and so far i can drift in figure eights back to back. depending on what car you have you will learn quicker with a good, and lightweight drift car like a ae86 or a 240sx. sorry for long reply just trying help.

i just got my first car and it is a 1990 300zx. can't drift very well but one of the best cars ever made. if you want a slower but good drift car go with a 240sx. if you want an ok drift car and a kinda slow car get the rx-7 but my advice get a z!!!

s14 doesnt have an understeering problem, its know for it ease to drift since if doesnt have very much of an under/over steer issue. The s14 is having driver problems...... Push eject button and insert new driver.

from watching the video it looks like u put too much throttle into it. If you hit the brakes to shift more of your weight into your front tires u can throw out the back without putting as much throttle into it, n it gives u more room to control the direction of your drift
