  • Despite the debate on a dynamics of a 400 km/h plus wind into a gaping hole, vs what was left of the planes lift properties, look at the photos of the reconstructed parts of the plane and you will see that the centre tank did not rip outwards but "detonated" within itself and theres an inwards warping hole in the metal indicative of penetration from an external object. Intensive study of aircraft accidents continue to proliferate propaganda to abate legal claims or military incompetence.

I confess, I had never actually thought about the aicraft - in your eloquent words - "filling up with air and flipping around" - like an "empty cigrarette tube".   • yes, Mr.smartass, the plane's elburium got destroyed by the nose breakup, and the engines WERE still running when the body soared upwards(the wing tanks stayed intact), fueled by the fuel inside those tanks, but at 4,000+ altitude, the plane stalled, ALL done by the plane itself.

  • Complete bullshit. A plane can't rise with all its weight over and behind the wings. Aerodynamically impossible. Find a single pilot or aerospace engineer outside the NTSB/CIA to support this animation, if you can. There are none.

  • acetorbin, i agree, with the nose gone, the plane points higher, vertical even. But to sustain that angle and climb requires massive thrust.

    The recent crash outside Chicago shows what can happen when the nose of a plane is abruptly pulled back.

    The commercial pilot recorded reported the flash was at altitude with 800 and testified that it dropped like a stone.

    Why would the NTSB not want to speak to him?

    I'm no conspiracy nut job. Not even Boeing supports this animation.

  • lol i thought the animation was some homemade thing tbh :) but i get what u mean, also i supose if the nose was 'blown off' (to be honest i didnt even know there was a conspiracy abt this crash untill i read some of the other comments lol) and going that speed it would kind of blow the plane up, not as in explosives like c4 etc, but would all that air being forced into the pretty much sealed tube of the fuselage, would the air pressure push it apart from the inside?

Before I enter the conversation I would like to say I'm just a kid, but I have been studying planes and aerodynamics for some time.Anyway, sadly, that so- called "investigator" has a point. Planes are heavier at the front, and when the nose is ripped off, as in this case, the center of gravity changes and the plane tilts upward. The engines in this case were still working, and propelled the plane upward. The plane quickly stalled, because of the gaping hole, and THEN fell like a rock.

  • NTSB & CIA's 800 animation are contradictary & hogwash.

  • This isn't a conspiracy. It was only believed to be terrorists because of a terrorist being put on trial because of the 1993 wtc bombings. That had nothing to do with TWA Flight 800. The explosion happened because of a short circuit in a wire heading in to the fuel tank that monitors fuel levels. The planes' fuel was way over heated. That caused fumes to form and they ingited with the short circuit. This was a tragedy. The FAA didn't inspect the plane. It was one of TWA's oldest planes.

    I would guess that the plane would only gain a few hundred feet before stalling as the tail keeps dropping, Does the recorder data really supports that animation??

Sometimes its fun to believe in conspiracies (these days everyone want to bash the US Government). Sorry to spoil your fun, this was just an accident. Although it could have been the Roswell aliens beaming Dick Cheney over into the fuel tanks to plant shoe bomb!!!

  • Even without the nose, the plain still has momentum and the wings attached. So yes, it could keep flying... but for a very short period of time.

  • The engines were still running. The airplane started climbing as a result of having the center of gravity was tilted back. It doesn't need to have the nose attached to climb. It helps, though.
