As far as I know, the Russian army is fairly weak.

There are many Russian documentaries (some banned in Russia), which show how terrible the Russian military is indeed. I watched a recent Russian documentary which showed that most Russian soldiers are always drunk while on duty.

I've watched videos of superior officers forcing Russian soldiers to commit disgusting sexual acts, soldiers for prostitution, beatings, murder, and even killed soldiers to sell their organs.
