She's saying, basically, that the world is full of horrible things (promises never fulfilled, ext.) but that, even so, she likes the world and wants to protect it.
I can't wait for the rest of the episodes to be released. ^_^ Oh, and does anyone know what the song is called for when Collete was talking about how much she wanted to protect the planet? =]
Hey... about ToS2, Collett ( Spelling ) doesent have angel wings anymore... so does that mean all her angel skills are gone? I wonder what new skills she will have nows :3 ( She was my main character. )
two things, excited for this game, but LLoyd can't be a bad guy. It really doesn't suit him at all, after playing over 100+ hours with him it wouldn't feel right. I really wonder how are they going to fit the story into just 4 OAVs, when the first one ends in Lloyd leaving Iselia... They've got to leave a lot of stuff out. I wonder if it's following the plotline where you get Kratos back? I heard the manga & novels do.
Tales of Symphonia and Skies of Arcadia are the best games ever. I love Tales of Symphonia so much. The story, characters, game player, side questing, and everything is amazing.
By the way, if you level up too much to the point that things are too easy, ***equipt weak items***.
Equipting weak items will make things challenging again. Also, if you level up quickly, you can always try going to the coluseum using characvters like Raine, Genis, and Colette.
hmm this game is too long 4 ova won t do and the games is really easy even the secret boss is easy and if you play the game in maniac well..i dont take responsability for the destruction of control consoles and the game XD and Kratos Rules more than Celos and Lloyd is the best character in the game

This game was one of the greatest ever! I got it in the summer of either 03 or 04 - but i think 03. I loved the voicover so much, and the animation of cutscenes was the same quality as the omv. I've wanted them to make an animation of it since I played it. I'm so excited - I hope they keep the same english voice actors.
This is the kind of music that screams "I am an obscure Japanese RPG so will never see me unless you frequent eBay" I know it isn't true but the music makes it seem that way.
I wasn't actually refeting to the OVA itself, I was saying that you may find this sort of music in an obscure RPG.

Will it ever be released with English dubs in North America? Normally I don't like it with English dubs, but FMA did it very well and if this one does too I'll watch it.
They released a Fire Emblem dub in America, and that was long before anybody in the west heard of it. And this game was released in America. I'd say most likely.
it seems the only characters they will show in the OVA will be Lloyd, Collette, Genus, Raine, and Kratos (using their American Names, of course) on the website listed, it calles Raine "Refill". wow, odd translation.
but i would have loved to see some romantic dynamic with Zelos/Sheena in OVA format. that would make me very very very happy :3

The translation goes something like this. The opening text says "I know in this world, there are many sad things." She says "Loneliness, misunderstandings, broken promises. But, I like this world. This sky, the wind, the earth. That's why, I want to restore it. That's why, I'll go on a journey."
It's not a perfect translation, but you get the idea.
Do you know where I can gt the lyrics for Eri Kawai "Almateria" I can't seem to find it, it sucks because I've heard this song somewhere before, and now I can't even find th lyrics to the song.
Hm.. I love the ending theme song. It seems to be a perfect match to the anime/game. Such a depressing discovery it only lasts for 4 episodes. But go to the translated ova-tos and click the Lyod banner and learn lots of unknown stuffs!
Hm, Personally I think they could pull it off pretty easily in 4 episodes. Think about how much time you spend running around the world and stuff in the game, I highly doubt they would put all that in the anime XD;; Just think about it. How much actually HAPPENS? Not very much. |D; Nothing thats gonna take more than 2 hours to animate, anyway.
Well, an anime of the game is a huge opportunity to put alot more emotion and depth in the story than you could in the game, i'm confident that they could make the anime at least 20 episodes, probably more.

Yeah... but... Phantasia was the first game, and didn't have quite a long and complex plot as Symphonia did.... WAHHH!!! Does this mean Zelos and the others are only gonna wind up in... Well, you do have a point there. It'll be interesting on how they plan on pulling the series off in just 4 eps. I could understand what Collette was saying too! She did speak very clearly, which is always a plus. I've checked for MP3s of the OP/ED themes, but the CD single itself won't be released till June as well, so MP3s probably won't be available till then as well.
Well, most of TOS... Is, in fact, gameplay. A shocker, I know. =P They can probably easily pull this off, by not covering extensive time, or even any time at all, on most of the scenes. Like, with the Ymir fruit, they can just show a few scenes of Lloyd and the others struggling and then get the fruit. xD
They just released an English version of Phantasia this year, so an English version of Symphonia is bound to be out in the future. The Phantasia came out in Japan in 2005, so give Symphonia two years as well then it should be out in the US in 2009.
An English release is likely but but my prediction is no earlier than 2009. Since Tales of Phantasia was released in Japan in 2005 and the English released just came out this year, I'm simply assuming a two years for before ToS will be out in English.
I'm sure they will, I'm hopeing Sheena appears in ep. 2 while I'm sure the rest of the Tethe'alla cast will appear in ep. 3. Yeah, 4 eps isn't a lot, but it's better than no anime at all. Tales of Eternia has a 13 ep anime, but it seems like the events that it covers isn't actually in the game (I haven't played the game so it's just an assumption).
Acutally, since Tales of Phantasia is out in English, it is likely that Tales of Symphonia will be out in English as well, it will just be a long while before it is. I don't expect it to be in english any earlier that 2009.

Most probably not since it's only going to be 4 episodes. Unless those 4 episodes are humongously long. It's probably going to skip over a lot of stuff since they need to compress it for time... a little sad. I wish they could at least make it even into a short series (12-14) episodes
I personally think the Tethe'alla part will be in eps three and four. I mean, I don't see why they would only animate the Slyvarant part of the story.
According to the official website, the series will be composed of four volumes. The first is set for release in Japan on June 8, 2007. Volume 2 is scheduled for August 10, 2007. ^-^ Thats what the website is basicly about if you were wondering. The english episodes are bot yet decided when they will come out. It will probably be in 2008. I hope i helped out! ^-^
Tales of Symphonia is a pretty mainstream game. If Tales of Phantasia got dubbed, I imagine that ToS will get licensed soon after the release. Though, I wouldn't be surprised if we don't see it till 2009...

it's not coming out June 8th, its August 6th. that realy sucks, why does it take that long for them to make 4 episodes?! and 4 OVA episodes really isnt enough for the whole story. i highly doubt they'll make it into Tethe'alla.

actually they Tethe'alla is going to be in the anime. I saw a clip of them riding on those flying things (I forget what there called* and they were going through this black tunnel that connected the worlds

The translation goes something like this. The opening text says "I know in this world, there are many sad things." She says "Loneliness, misunderstandings, broken promises. But, I like this world. This sky, the wind, the earth. That's why, I want to restore it. That's why, I'll go on a journey."
It's not a perfect translation, but you get the idea.

hmmmm, they are treating it just like Phantasia OVA. 4 Volumes. I'm guessing right now, if the volume is at least an hour long:
1st: Martel Temple, up to Dirk's House with Kratos (minus the ranch thing)
2nd: Up to Tower of Salvation first visit? Betrayal of Kratos, of course. Yggdrasil shows up.
3rd: Ymir Forest, Origin and no Final Kratos.
4th: Flanoir scene, Derris-Karlan, Yggdrasil is revealed to be Mithos???
I know it's messy, but I'm thinking about what they did to Phantasia's OVA.

Hm.. I love the ending theme song. It seems to be a perfect match to the anime/game. Such a depressing discovery it only lasts for 4 episodes. But go to the translated ova-tos and click the Lyod banner and learn lots of unknown stuffs!

Hm, Personally I think they could pull it off pretty easily in 4 episodes. Think about how much time you spend running around the world and stuff in the game, I highly doubt they would put all that in the anime XD;; Just think about it. How much actually HAPPENS? Not very much. |D; Nothing thats gonna take more than 2 hours to animate, anyway.

Well, an anime of the game is a huge opportunity to put alot more emotion and depth in the story than you could in the game, i'm confident that they could make the anime at least 20 episodes, probably more.

Hehe, just like you I've been trying to find a glimpse of Zelos, Sheena, and the rest. Kinda sad that there is only 4 episodes but I still can't wait and hope it will be in English or find subtitles since I don't understand a word of Japanese.

Gahhh! June is seems so far away!!! It seems info on episode 1 is the only info out. Episode 2 isn't planned to be released till August!!! Gyahh!!! I wanna see Sheena!!! So who knows when ep 3 and 4 will be released. Why such a big gap between releases!? Why not a month at a time!? I swear the amimators are doing it to drive us nuts!!! Yeah... but... Phantasia was the first game, and didn't have quite a long and complex plot as Symphonia did.... WAHHH!!! Does this mean Zelos and the others are only gonna wind up in... TWO EPISODES!!?? DX though it's probably just wishful thinking, I'm hoping there are more than one episodes on one DVD T_T

Well, you do have a point there. It'll be interesting on how they plan on pulling the series off in just 4 eps. I could understand what Collette was saying too! She did speak very clearly, which is always a plus. I've checked for MP3s of the OP/ED themes, but the CD single itself won't be released till June as well, so MP3s probably won't be available till then as well.

Well, most of TOS... Is, in fact, gameplay. A shocker, I know. =P They can probably easily pull this off, by not covering extensive time, or even any time at all, on most of the scenes. Like, with the Ymir fruit, they can just show a few scenes of Lloyd and the others struggling and then get the fruit. xD

They just released an English version of Phantasia this year, so an English version of Symphonia is bound to be out in the future. The Phantasia came out in Japan in 2005, so give Symphonia two years as well then it should be out in the US in 2009.

An English release is likely but but my prediction is no earlier than 2009. Since Tales of Phantasia was released in Japan in 2005 and the English released just came out this year, I'm simply assuming a two years for before ToS will be out in English.

I'm sure they will, I'm hopeing Sheena appears in ep. 2 while I'm sure the rest of the Tethe'alla cast will appear in ep. 3. Yeah, 4 eps isn't a lot, but it's better than no anime at all. Tales of Eternia has a 13 ep anime, but it seems like the events that it covers isn't actually in the game (I haven't played the game so it's just an assumption).

Acutally, since Tales of Phantasia is out in English, it is likely that Tales of Symphonia will be out in English as well, it will just be a long while before it is. I don't expect it to be in english any earlier that 2009.

Most probably not since it's only going to be 4 episodes. Unless those 4 episodes are humongously long. It's probably going to skip over a lot of stuff since they need to compress it for time... a little sad. I wish they could at least make it even into a short series (12-14) episodes

According to the official website, the series will be composed of four volumes. The first is set for release in Japan on June 8, 2007. Volume 2 is scheduled for August 10, 2007. ^-^ Thats what the website is basicly about if you were wondering. The english episodes are bot yet decided when they will come out. It will probably be in 2008. I hope i helped out! ^-^

Tales of Symphonia is a pretty mainstream game. If Tales of Phantasia got dubbed, I imagine that ToS will get licensed soon after the release. Though, I wouldn't be surprised if we don't see it till 2009...
