I saw somewhere that they took that dummy out in the city in a taxi and when they were stopped and a light with someone in a car next to them they would spin the head and scare the shit out of them. If only they'd filmed that.

This is why I love this genre. They used traditional special effects to wow the audience. These are just classics in every sense of the word. They were awesome in their time and they still hold up even today.
