  • I like these videos. I get to see what its really like there.

  • thank you. i love showing how japan really looks like

  • It shows how much better it is than the US. Go to New York in a subway station, and it's just nasty.

  • yeah, im with you on that, the new york sub car i rode smelled like a drity urinal

  • I agree it's good to be clean, but too many announcements on trains make me feel unpleasant.

For example, "Please do not forget your belongings such as an umbrella when you leave the train, blah, blah, blah..."

    ...Leave me alone.

For that matter, announcements on escalators in department stores are worse than on trains.

The Japanese live in a shower of noise. I hear Japan is the only country with many unnecessary announcements or too much music everywhere in town, and I'm slightly envious of Americans or Europeans.

More than enough is too much.

  • we pretty much have the same crap with noise too, most of the noise come from loud rude people with cell phones, most of the people in japan dont use cells on the train which is a something i very envious of when i was there

  • By the way, seeing this video, I recalled that the "Hanzomon" in the Subway Hanzomon Line stands for "Hattori Hanzo's Gate".

US names its own public facilities after noted politicians such as Dulles or Kennedy, on the other hand, one of the public facilities in Japan is named for one NINJA! It's interesting to see the differences between both countries.

  • @aoimazenta I live in Shiki / Saitama. There is an loud public announcement in town every day at 15pm. "Please take care of the kids" or something like that... and then at 17 or 18 the same recorded woman says "Ok kids, time to go home!" and they play the same old melody every day.
