I thought this video was beautiful, but I think you had the images fade too fast. I would really really love to see this video and have a longer time to look at each photograph.
I haven't been so moved by a video about God in a while. Praise be to God! Lord give me a heart like yours, for the sick, the weak, the afflicted, the poor...I never want to stop caring and don't want to look away from the needs of others. In the name of Jesus, Amen. Thumbs up if you prayed this too.
I did a pantomime to this song back in April, and I had to keep myself from crying on stage when I entered in a talent show, because the message is so beautiful. No matter who the artist is that sings the song, no matter the voice, the message remains the same and its because God's love is still with us that we are able to face each day and shout to our King, so let us give Him all of the praise and the glory that is due to His name!
Anyone can be saved from their sins. Even Saddam could have if he would have prayed to the Lord and asked for forgivness. All of us have sinned and came short of what we should have done. Granted most of us have not done anything really bad, but we have sinned and God gave his son so that we could be forgiven. Those of us who have sinned a little can be forgiven, and those who have sinned alot can be forgiven too.
But considering its Saddam Hussein we're talking about, a monster, and a devout Muslim, a fierce believer in jihad. So its highly unlikely he didn't. That's all I am going to say about the matter. No matter what you'd like to fantasize, I cannot believe that in the end he saw the light, and once you're dead, all chances are gone.
I don't know if he asked to be forgiven or not. I beleive that it is not God who abandons us, it is us who abandon God. With that idea in mind, sinners would be more like runaway children and not Orphans of God. I understand where you are coming from, it is hard to even begin to understand that God can forgive people who do such evil things, but if they sincerely ask, he will.
all it is saying is that even those who seem unworthy can still be forgiven. and i don't think he did ask for forgiveness before he died, but that is not the point.

Ok, my question then is, did he? Did he pray for his sins to be forgiven, before he was hung?
If not, then your entire argument, while biblically and theologically correct, is moot. If he didn't, he doesn't belong in this video.

How can we know that he did not ask for forgiveness? Listen to the lyrics at this part. Christians should even weep at the lostness of the world.

I have no way of knowing, that's why I am asking.
But considering its Saddam Hussein we're talking about, a monster, and a devout Muslim, a fierce believer in jihad. So its highly unlikely he didn't. That's all I am going to say about the matter.
