Its funny that you mention judo being better than traditional jiujitsu and then go on to bash BJJ because it comes from this "obsolete martial art". The fact of the matter is that BJJ comes from Judo not traditional japanese jiujitsu. And how does MMA not have any martial arts in it, it has Boxing, Wrestling, Judo, Sambo, Muay Thai, etc. You should actually research something before you try and bash it.

@SpoofLee Because Helio hates judo. He want to make a difference even in name. Mifune was a judoka and his techniques are the same as Kano. So BJJ comes from judo. They are basicly the same, judo look for throws and bjj for ground. Both sports are good.

And against multiple opponents throwing is useful. But one cannot ground fight more than 1 person at a time. I find more realistic the throw (even more than punching SOMETIMES), because you can kill or brake his back/hip/shoulder/elbow/knee with the throw. And while you are on foot you can grab the oponent, throw him or use him as shield, with floor fighting this is impossible, that's what makes the difference, between sport and martial arts. :)
