I'm not sure so maybe I shouldnt say something, but i don't think he does that much with the knobs, maybe some extra subtile sound effects just to make it more as an Live Act. He's set seem to be pre recorded. But i kind of like when artists add more sound effects, Pixel is very good when it comes to that, thats why i go and dance to live acts, to hear new sounds and unreleased tracks you've never heard before! But i also like it live mixed, sooo :(

but what he does is altern the songs in such a perfect way that for someone who dont no the song will tthing he does nothing.

The console has, say, 20 channels. Every channel has its own sound that makes a track. He then combines these channels in order to compose his track. Naturally, in this way he can improvise and add sounds as long and as much as he wants. The knobs are modifying the sound of one channel so he can play with it.

Never actually worked with one of these, but it surely has to be a great deal of fun.

Hope it is clearer now. Perhaps I'm wrong as well, but I think I got the idea well enough.
