The military of today does not fight for freedom or the average citizen. The military fights for the rich one percent political class. But as you said, it was taking too many resources and American families were getting sick of their boys coming back in body bags. The North Vietnamese only used guerilla warfare. it was a bad war. I know a marine, an army man, and another marine all who tried to get with my fiance and one was successful. All of them knew he was engaged with me but did not care and they tried any ways. Taking down a satellite is hard, but what would happen if you had the missile technology to shoot it from space eventually. protesting about the economy doesnt get anything productive done. I bet more then half of those protesters arent even registered to vote. War is inevitable. Even if the U.S. stops spending on defense the rest of the world will not. i dont know about you but i would rather have the U.S. policing the world then a authoritarian state like china with barely any human rights.

80 "Occupy Wall Street" protesters were arrested by police last weekend. Demonstrators were protesting against bank bailouts and the mortgage crisis. Police tried using orange plastic netting to corral protesters, using pepper spray on women and beating up people. Yet elsewhere, kids are joining the military and supporting a war that has created massive govt debt that has made the military-industrial complex rich by making today's young generation pay for it. War is a scam! Wake up America!

Not even the Viet Cong prospered from that war. THey lost 3 times more men we did. In history, most wars don't really have a winner besides the important's you hear about such as World War I & 2. @MarineForceSS Well, North Vietnam actually united itself with South Vietnam, which is what the US wanted to prevent. But as you said, it was taking too many resources and American families were getting sick of their boys coming back in body bags. The North Vietnamese only used guerilla warfare. it was a bad war. Also the reason we fought that way was because of the lack of the public support. It doesnt matter how good you are if the people i your country don't support you. Another was that when they ended the bombing campaigns on N.Vietnam is when was our first mistake had we had a govt with some balls then Vietnam would be a democratic state.

Even though the spartans were the best of the best and the group that fought there were the best of the best of the best. Yet they still loss because they were so vastly outnumbered. The US may have had more troops but The Vietcong and the N.Vietnamese army had more active troops that were in country then the US had in Country. Also they only lost because of our govt at the time

North Vietnam was on the brink. the only reason we pulled out is cause of politicians wanting to please the public which was mostly anti-war by that point because the war had dragged on so long

There was a time when i had so much respect for the men in the millitary. But not anymore. not because of th wars but because they have no respect. I know a marine, an army man, and another marine all who tried to get with my fiance and one was successful. All of them knew he was engaged with me but did not care and they tried any ways.
