when you are on an local network (at home) you can use the Local ip (192.168.X.XX)

so far i knew hamachi always use 5.xxx.xxx.xxx

(for so far it was in 2010) i dont kno if they changed it

but i am sure it will always start whit an 5

because normal it is Vlaflip To L4d2 But the original will be

je zouw ook tunngle kunnen gebruiken

dat ga ik (als er ooit een left for dead 3 komt of andere valve coop spel)

gebruiken omdat tunngle makelijker is om te gebuiken

omdat bij hamachi zit je vast aan groepen (meer prive doel einde)

en met tunngle join je rooms

dat is iets makleijker

@Pshychonaum its i long time ago but i kno the problem (but fergot the sulution :) try to find the client.dll in the l4d2 folder if using windows 7 or vista use the search bar and find client.dll i tink the big problem is installing l4d2 becouse when using windows vista/7 he needs to be an administator try to instal l4d2 whit admin richts if you are using windows xp/89/ME then you got an problem i cant send you the client.dll becouse i dont have the game my self anymore i hope you understand

@flubr123 het zit zo bij l4d2 waneer een niuwe l4d2 dlc(pack) uit komt dan word het met een verzie bijgevoerd dus verzie 2.0.2.7 kreeg the passing en 2.0.4.1 kreeg de niuwe secrefice dus het heeft ook de 2.0.2.7 versie er in maar iik heb 2 mogelijk heden of dowload gewoon de oude verzie maar moet je vlaflip wel los dowloaden want de torrent is niet van mij en daar naar kun je hem patchen (updaten) en dan krijg je de newste dlc + verzie natuurlijk maar dan moet je wel 2 torrents dowloaden

But I was thinking, that if I play local with some friends, on the same network, shouldn't I just be able to play by connecting to the host Ip in the console? (without hamachi) - connect **.**.**.**

@Emhei2 hmm yea but i think if you connect your friend with the normal ip like 192.168.0.135 then you can connect whit out hamachi btw in hamachi you need an green connection becouse blue is bad in hamachi red is almost dead but you only need to try it to connect in vlaflip using the ip of your friend like 192.168.0.135 <NOT HAMACHI IP like 5.14.14.236

first test if l4d2 works whit out it then use the console ~ and try to connect your friends whit connect IP you can also try to open vlaflip in administrator mode
