  • I don't have the words :D new words must be invented to describe how cool that is

  • that is so cool.

  • I just creamed my panties....excuse me while I go change.

  • awesome pack, any idea where i can get that gb1 ribbon cable for mine...you can see my video on here....

  • !!!

  • To turn off, just press the little red button on top of the handle.

  • Here's how to use the neutrona wand on the proton pack: for charging, switches 1&2 on the right and then switches 4&3 for firing. Simple. :D

  • that's so cool.. i want one lol

  • this is so fucking epic

  • NERDGASM!!!!

  • You should get that thing licensed.

  • i am in envy of your creation

  • "Alright this chic is TOAST"!!!!

  • were did you find that ribbon wire, or how did you make it?

  • What do the labels say?

  • So I'm really good at making items from wood, etc. But my electronics skills are squat other than your regular 12 volt wiring. Was it difficult to get the lights to flash properly in your prop? And does it make sound effects, or was that just part of the video recording you done? Thanks!

  • Three people are busted ghosts.

  • You make my pack look like crap

  • Awesome, love it!

  • how much........(do you make any for a retail price?)

  • How much cost this proton pack?

  • I Think there needs to be a proton back made like the one from the new video game and if u press a button on the one it changes to the different modes.

  • that is so awsome

  • im looking at building my own pack, love this one of yours. is there any way i can come across plans for this one?

  • @kbmonaco join gbfans.com

  • @kind2311 BADASS!!!!!!!1

  • @kbmonaco it says right in the video comments

  • If I were to pay you can you make me one ?

  • i would cross the streams against many many people around here :D

  • I want one!

  • wow...that's great looking. Now just one bit of advice. DON'T CROSS THE STREAMS!

  • WOW WOW WOW nice shoonnt Tex!!

  • WOW WOW WOW!! nice shoonnt Tex!!

  • revel in its epicness

  • How much would you sell for?

  • Sell this to me :D Im being serious.

  • dude thats awesome!!!!!! but the krank nob is backwards

  • @567ghostbuster the crank knobs on the screen-used packs actually turned, so they were at different positions in the movie depending on the pack and the scene.

  • Naw all we need is an Anti-Gravity ray mechanism

  • i'm so freaking jealous

  • brilliant! what an amazing prop! : )

  • Amazing. No other word for it. Does it actually vibrate and shake your am when "firing"?

  • who bent your ion arm?

  • @grindsoul it came that way from multimediamayhem : (

i didnt know better at the time.

  • Like maybe a differentiating - colored meter on the back of the pack where the blue meter is and a switch on the nozzle that plays the GB song.

  • How much would it cost to put in a few modifications as well?

  • @DominateEye what type of modifications?

  • i tip my hat to you sir

  • how much for one? I gotta have one.

  • @crxricecarboy I can build you one exactly like this for $2500

  • @kind2311 i'll take you up on that offer. I want a pack EXACTLY like this one. But can you give me about a year (maybe less). So i can save up my money. Im in Maryland.

  • @liltd87 i'll be here. drop me a line when you're ready

  • @kind2311 Thank you very much!

"now that wasn't such a chore, was it?" :)

  • DONT CROSS THE STREAMS

  • nice....

  • Maybe now you'll never slime a guy with a positron collider huh?!

    Dude, f*cking awesome!!!

  • my hat goes off to you sir because you didn't say "positron glider"

    well done

  • So, is this prop heavy?

  • Wow! five stars!

  • i mean can u buy these soz bad spelling lol

  • can u but these is so how much and were thank u

  • hehehe that's awesome

  • Working on mine now. =D

    Getting Exorays lights.

But still wondering on sound. Might just add that later. That and money is my only issue now. Haha

  • VERY GOOD! did u make it if so can i have the plans and if not well hey ur still the own of an unlicence nuclear accelorator! :D

check out my carboard one on the chanel!

  • very nice! I have a video of my own proton pack, which is a fusion between the movie pack and the Extreme Ghostbusters pack. Check it out! :-)

  • This video makes me want to play with a proton pack, nice video, what light kit did you use??

  • those would be Exoray's lights.

    contact him at Exoray(at)gmail(dot)com

  • Thanks for the info, i see you has Multimayhem on the links what did u get from them , i saw there site, they have a ton of goodies on there.

  • is there any info you can give me on how to build a proton pack

  • What did you used to drive the LED's ? Pic or Atmel ? And do you have the code ?

  • they are made by Exoray using his own board design and programming.

Arduino is another popular choice in the GB prop community

  • Very nice.

  • Wow! The best proton pack I've ever seen! Is it wired to make those sounds or did you add them to the movie after recording?

  • thanks! this is actually my old pack which did not have sound in it, these sounds were added afterwards.

check my video response for my current, more-accurate pack with real sound built-in.

  • best one i've seen

  • someone should make a proton pack like the one in the game you know with the other attachments like the slime blower, meson cloider and the blue one i forget the name

  • Some people have already done that.

  • coooool

  • If you ever make a spare I'd be more than willing to buy it!

  • It's perfectly legal to walk the streets with this on, no need to be hostile.

  • This is fantastic, excellent job.

  • why are you calling me a fuckin jerk?

  • Because people with no intelligence and no talent feel the need to insult those of us with them.

  • WTF?

  • where do you get it

  • did that website build that for you?

  • How much power does that use?

  • the power source can be between 9 and 12 V

on this pack, i was using 12 C batteries, 6 for the gun and 6 for the pack lights.

my new pack uses a single 12V rechargeable battery to run both the light kits and the amp for the sound, and a separate 2 AA batteries to supply the 3V for the sound chip.

  • fuck yeah! nobody hates ghostbusters!

  • You have to go all out for halloween as a ghostbuster, and then anytime you see someone dressed up like a ghost you can bust em

  • OMG!! you have no idea what i could do to get one of those!! maaaaaaan I WANT IT!!! i could kill for it!

  • You can make it!

  • Dude your proton pack kicks ass.

  • yeah for real!

  • alright wered you get it? or howed you make it?

  • magic

  • I believe its magic

  • I now know why the world needs Duplicators so badly.

  • dupliwha?

  • A duplicator.

Sci-Fi thingimajig that creates an exact copy of an object at the press of a button.

  • This has to be the best replica I've ever seen. Congrats

  • I dont think I have ever winessed anything so awesome. You sir, are the King of Rock....There is none higher.

  • totally need to put the sound bytes into the unit

  • Can I have one too.

  • hmmm im thinking about getting exoray's light kit for mine.... dunno which sound kit im gonna go with

  • hey, did you do the electronics yourself? If not, coudl you show me where?

  • omg this is so fucking great this truly great thing u made.....your a smart man..and hopefully youll soon put this great mind on making things to help this world better...i tip my hat off to u sir

  • ridiculously cool!!! Sound effects to die for!

  • It is a thing of beauty....

  • do u go to comic con?

  • not yet, i will next year in San Diego and hopefully DragonCon in Atlanta

  • You should make stage props, this is awesome!

  • Who ya gonna call? GHOSTBUSTERS!

  • no . . . . .

    HE-MAN!

  • lol!

  • WHO U GONNA CAAALL.........HEMAN!!

  • You know, my dad says you guys are full of crap.

  • COOOOOL

  • your a fucking nerd but you know what i would have loved to have done the same thing dude great job how long did it take to build this proton pack

  • hahahahahah NO

i am a geek, nerds are smart, do well in school and get rich . . . .im just a geek building props loL!

  • you can always shoot slime...

  • did you add the sound effects after you filmed this?

  • uh huh

  • uh huh no you are right no sodufdfd you so dumb ha haha

  • my question is....are the sound effects added after the video was shot?

  • This is the best pack I've seen yet with the best sounds, especially the power down after you release the trigger to stop firing.

    AWESOME!

  • 5 stars. If you powered this on in front of a cop and pointed it at him, do you think he'd kill you?

  • wow i remeber when i was 5 i

build a proton pack out of newspaperse

  • I had this big jar that popcorn came in, it was killer . . .then my mom bought me the Kenner RGB pack. . . .and that was it!

  • the second time when i made mine i use my school backpack tie a string to a water gun then my parents broke it apart

  • I like your new pack more . . .

  • Absolutley excellent. I want one being a Ghostbusters fan this is a big wow for me. How long did it take to make.

  • that is AMAZING. my buddy and i are doing it this year for halloween, were gonna start this week. can you please give us a little advice? anything would help...tips on what was hardest for you? some ideas? materials....anything.

    good job and thanks

  • hells yeah !!!

  • I would literally kill someone to have that, god dammit its my dream!

  • Now I am wondering.. how much did all that cost, materials wise... lights and sounds? Or was it all bought put together and if so, how much did that set you back and is the builder still doing this?

  • The proton pack is not a toy!

  • yeah i guess you're right . . . . .

  • The sound effects? What is it and where did you get it from?

  • Dude, that is incredible man! I want one!

  • me 2222222222 i love ghostbusters there r my life

  • I'm gonna build one. It should be a fun project. I wonder if I can have something substantial by this October.

  • Will you build me one, pleeeassseeee, awsome work, i love it.

  • Gotta tell you dude, I've seen tons (and I mean TONS) of Proton Packs, this has got to be the best. All you need to do is shoot some video and use Adobe AfterEffects and you could throw some serious proton streams. Love the sound effects too.

  • I would if i found someone that could do a decent one. All i see on here are lousy renditions and i wouldnt want to add another LoL!

  • Well I'm working on honeing my AfterEffects skills, once I feel good about what I can do, I'll bounce you a line. I'm tinkering with all the different settings on the lightening effect which is the key to making a good proton stream, one orange one greenish blue...

  • WOW !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Can you please tell me where you found that ribbon cable.

    =)

  • i wish i had found it. It was custom made by SolidGoldCaddy on GBFans

  • Imagine trying to get that through an airport

  • What no laser?

  • yeah i disabled it for halloween and never put the jumper back on

I almost got kicked out of a bar the saturday before halloween for shining it in the bartenders eyes accidentally when I was showing someone else the barrel LED's. thats why i disabled it for halloween.

  • lol...

  • which plans did you use on gbfans ?

  • the shell and parts are built to Stefan's plans.

  • oh, im using norm's plans nd i don't want to spend too much because idon't have the budget for 1200$. and i was wondering if it would cost that much on norms plans

  • no definitely not. Norm's plans are considered "budget"

  • tell me how much everything cost to make this beautiful piece of heaven

  • around $1,200

  • God, so sweet

  • i would kill for that!

  • lol me too

  • i can't figure out what is used for the bumper on the cyclotron...any suggestions?

  • Woah! can you buy like a toy proton pack on the market?

  • I have been playing Ghostbusters on my 360, and after seeing what they did for the new pack I am planning on retro-fitting mine with the slime blower tank and tube with a small actuator, and the Stasis lights.

Great work man, how long did this one take you?

  • Nice bro, i cant wait to see pics of your progress. make sure to add the raytheon vacuum tubes to the pack and thrower. As for the stasis lights, i would love to see you make all the cosmetic ribbing flip up with blue lghts, that would be badass.

  • I have allready been messing around with the blue and green lights on the cyclotron, next will be coordinating the slime and stasis sounds with the lights.

I think I am going to get as much done on this pack as I can then recast another pack with a few modular peices, because I really thought the blue ribbing would look incredible when it pops out and back in along with the tube., but in order to look right a fresh pack is needed.

I can't wait to see what some other guys do for the GBVG pack.

  • first switch-the pack turns on *THE CROWD GOES WILD**

second switch-gun turns on and shoots *@@@@@@@@@@@@@@*

  • The sounds this thing makes should be loud, I mean really loud, are they loud? Please tell me it makes the sounds and not that you edited them into the video.

Good job, by the way. You get an A+

  • well here's the thing, I edited HProps sounds into the vid and leveled them so they dont blow your damn speakers when you have the volume turned up. Every Proton Pack vid on youtube that has sounds edited in has them wayyyy too loud and I hate it, that was what actually blew my last pair of speakers out.

  • i just came.

  • this is the best looking model ive ever seen. nice job
