There are two types of kamanches, the Persian one which is slightly bigger than this and has a much bolder tone, and this one which is commonly used by Azeris and Armenians. Kamanche in Persian means little bow.
Dorud bar shomaa. we also have the Kurdish and Turkish versions of the Kamaanche right? are these metal strings or do they also use nylon? How much would one cost? thanks.
