  • Intelectual and Socialist idealism displaced the Democratic party. In other words the sheep are being sheared. So much for hope and change!

  • Great job!

  • This is what happens when someone gets just enough knowledge to be dangerous....Archive your video, save it onto archival media, then store it in a cool, dry place. Break it out in about 20 years. You'll look at it and say "My God, did I really say THAT?"

  • Please understand I do not mean to be disrespectful, I am only trying to start a good debate. You are obviously an smart person, who knows what they are talking about, I am only trying to to offer a different view, and would like to hear what you and everyone else thinks. Your views are just as meaningful as mine. If the posts become very insulting and hateful, I will not respond, but please be honest and respectively harsh, I can take it. A ggod debate is always supported by passion.

  • Hugs and good thoughts do not bring about change, action does. And by action I do not mean violence. Resolutions do not work they only punish those who need help. So I ask you what do you suggest we do? We have been in negotiations with Iran for years, and never have we outright called for war, yes you have and so has the media. It is an option, but not one anyone wants. If it was it would have already happened. Complaining and not offering solutions only shows ignorance not knowledge.

  • Wake up and face reality! The one of the few countries who provides help to these people is America, and most European countries. The UN does nothing, except make money and commit crimes. If the US does something bad, thats all the world hears about, forget that UN peace keepers are raping and stealing from the people they are suppose to protect that goes unnoticed. All of you want the world tp be peaceful and great. Yet you feel nobody should do anything about it.

  • So the next time you hear people like Bono and other celebrities call for America to do more to help the people around the world who need help. Remember what you have all posted here. It is none of our business and we have no right to push for change. We should ignore the plight of those who are oppressed and suffering. Screw Israel, Sudan, Iran, North Korea, and anyone else. Lets let them all die of starvation due to thier leaders. They do not deserve freedom! Even if they want it.

  • Your right, we should leave everything up to the UN, they have done a wonderful job protecting the civil liberties of the people around the world. They solved the problems in Darfur, stopped the genocide in Iraq, helped the people of Somolia, and have never profited from it. They have done a great job protecting the women and young girls of the world from oppression and torture.

  • I loved the cave comparison, we just talked about it in philosphy and it was great. And yes, if you elect a progressive canididate you attract so much of the untapped voting population! Barely 50% of the country votes! You could increase turnout by electing a progressive like Kucinich!

  • What's up with all these Ron Paul Posers courting Kucinich voters like we're gonna support Ron Paul? Ron Paul wants to get rid of social security and leave millions of disabled and elderly in poverty.

  • he wants to phase it out, because when us youngins get older, there will be none left for us, so im down for giving these generations it but, i dont wana torcher my kids wheni konw there wont be enough toget by

  • Ron Paul isn't simply going to throw people out on the street. Instead, he will phase it out by allowing young people to opt out of SS.

  • I love your shirt lol cute

You really put this into perspective, and you are very articulate.

  • well...

i love kucinich and gravel, but...

ron paul seems to be the leader with opposition to fascism

    have u researched him

  • I'm for Ron Paul, but I like what you say!

So true and good luck to you.

  • Right, if Americans want so much a real 'liberal' how come they voted for Bush again, last time?

  • @happyprometheus

    Um, they didn't.

  • You mean the election was fabricated? Does it matter, it was very close run anyway, even though it should not have been.

    Fool me once, your fault.

    Fool me twice....

  • @happyprometheus

You're talking as though either Kerry or Gore were liberals. The simple answer to the question of why people didn't vote for a liberal is because there wasn't one to vote for.

  • We live in a culture of complacency, and that has nothing to do with any labels such as 'liberal', 'democrat' or 'republican'. These labels are only diversions. Human selfishness has to be challenged on ethical and spiritual ground. I don't believe in 'liberals', I believe in sanity and love for other human beings.

  • @happyprometheus

Okay, whatever. Why would you initially ask me why America didn't vote for a "real liberal" if you don't "believe in liberals"? You also just stated that labels are diversions, but have nothing to do with complacency. Do you have a point, or do you just like arguing?

  • I do have a point, and I do like arguing.

    :)

My point is that the use of many political terms has become a cliché; hence we should talk in terms of ethics and psychology in order to get more grounded.

  • that was a scam

    wake up

  • usa set your alarm clock for NOW

  • tru daht !

  • Thank you but I don't have a lot of hope.

  • Amazing.

  • Brilliant video!

  • Excellent video. A good appraisal of the political shadows we have been seeing.

  • Cry me a river

  • Check my profile for the last best chance we have to take this world back.

    or google

    4-20-2008 "The Boycott"

  • i think its a parable

  • i heard the shadow metaphor...

    where is that from??????

    someone tell me PLEASE!!!

  • Plato's "The Republic"

  • Ramadan's shadow: Eide.

  • Awesome! Keep it up!

  • Correction/typo:

"Campaign to allow Al-Jazeera on cable here. It is a far better news org than anyone in the US knows. It was started BY THE SOME OF THE BEST AND BRIGHTEST BBC PRODUCERS WHO SAW A REAL NEED in Qatar, although there are US offices."

  • I'd like to recommend a book to you - "Florence of Arabia" by Christopher Buckley. Check it out when you get the chance.

  • Al-Jazeera contd.

The US-based Al-Jazeera hires US journalists who haven't sold us out and their coverage is 1000% better than the alphabet fare we are forced to watch.

  • Campaign to allow Al-Jazeera on cable here. It is a far better news org than anyone in the US knows. It was started in Qatar, although there are US offices. Qatar, while Wahhabi like Saudi Arabia, allowswomen the vote, to drive cars, hold elected office, and they are subject to a national drive to get post-graduate degrees. Five top US universities, like Cornell, have opened branches there. All education is free.

  • "All education is free." Like it should be here.

  • Correction in order: Obama was in New Hampshire during the Lieberman/Kyl Amendment. Senator Reid moved the original intended date of the vote up and Obama missed the vote.

The blogosphere, if complaining about the MSM, should be doing better fact-checking than the MSM.

  • If Kucinich became president, he won't be able to get anything done. His positions will be universally opposed by Republicans and probably a chunk of the Dems won't support him either. He won't be able to accomplish much until the house and the Senate are back to being Republican controlled and then Kucinich really won't be able to do anything.

  • "If Kucinich became president, he won't be able to get anything done. His positions will be universally opposed by Republicans and probably a chunk of the Dems won't support him either." - AngryPirateProd

I don't know about that... Bush is able to do a lot without the approval of Congress. See: his veto record.

  • Ron Paul to restore this country. He is not like the others. We need Ron Paul!

  • For the Clintons politics is bipolar-they both the pole and

    the hole.

  • This is worse than "Groundhog Day". This is "Night of the Living Dead"--where there's nothing but brainless zombie walking around, trying to make you become a brainless zombie too.

There's nowhere to run, nowhere to hide.

  • Great video! Keep up the good work!

  • Wow, truly excellent! I loved it. I have interviewed Dennis Kucinich twice and I could not agree more. Keep up the good work. Bravo!

  • end 24 hour news now or your children will all be slaves, mark these words...

  • Good job. Keep plugging Kucinich as the candidate who is right on the issues for the people -- especially Iraq, health care, the environment and impeachment. He is only unelectable if people don't challenge the "major candidates" on their undemocratic stands on the major issues.

  • Groundhog day is a great movie. Keep up the strength through peace struggle.

  • Just my opinion: Bush will takes these Oct15th-20th training exercises and say we had a real terror attack during them and Claim Dictatorship, and BOMB Iran..

    Check out Blacklistednews(dot)com...

    Peace

  • The Middle East situation shall become worse until USA commences to honor its Creed and liberate Palestine from Israeli occupation and equally liberates israel from zionist regime that perpetrates Crimes Against Humanity. The pretense that Israeli zionist regime and its Crimes Against Humanity may be acquiesed to and/or that international law may be negotiated away is a self-delusion.

  • ron paul is the only choice, the democrats running this time will be worse for america than bush is.

  • Hillary is a socialist. The democrats will take control of your lives and force you into their servitude. The Republicans are no better, but to think that socialism is a good thing is pure ignorance. Wake up. YOU ARE ALL SHEEP!!!!! Or maybe you democrats are just too weak to think for yourselves. RON PAUL 2008!!!!!

  • Sorry, but you don't know the meaning of the word if you define hilary as a socialist. Corporate welfare isn't socialism.

  • @strucklucky33

Socialists will make you work in servitude? Please, take breaks0's advice and learn the basic concept behind a philosophy before you call everyone else ignorant.

  • brilliantly strung together argument.

  • Amazing insight...thankyou
