I love this movie, i'm addicted to part 2 and I grew up watching this movie at least once a week !!!! I'm 35 now and a police officer in Texas, to this day, the music in the movie can still scare the hell out of me !!!

I think if I ever entered a house or building or saw anyone looking just like Michale Myers and that music started playing, I'd get the hell out the fastest way I could and wait for back up, a lot of back up !!!!!

I can't quite agree with looking at 1 & 2 as one film. The reason is I love the idea that you don't know whats the driving force behind Michael Myers killing spree. The loopholes & unanswered questions in the film & about the character Michael Myers raise this film to iconic status.

1) Why did he kill his sister at age 6?

2) Why does he want to kill Laurie(Jamie Lee)?

3) Even when he was shot 6 times, why didn't he die?

All these questions I ask make me love the film even more.

This could be a lot tighter especially with mixing the music from one scene to the next. Try also over lapping spoken dialogue into the next scene or to clarify or heighten what is being explained. Watch the beginning. The ending of it which is 2006 movie is perfect as it leads right in to the 2003 1st remake. If you wanna cheat the 2006 movie ending is on you-tube. One of the best prequel endings to a movie IMO. Also explains why the guy in the wheelchair has no legs.
