  • Is this really a war? Think about how many foreign soldiers died/wounded so far compared to how many Civilians died/got forced ("by accident")...You can't call this war. It's actually the exploitation of raw materials.

  • The 4 people that disliked this video are suggesting that they would like to be fighting in Afghanistan.

  • God bless Ron Paul. No politician in the last century has had his combination of courage and conviction. This country is abundantly blessed to have just one man like this, but damn this country if they're unwilling to make him president.

  • I am a registered Democrat, I will change my party before the california primary which is in June 2012. I will cast my vote for Ron Paul. I admire his position in all the issues. I hope that he surprises all the media and gets nominated.. hope hope hope

  • @palacech62 thank you. he needs every vote because the entire media and the establishment is against him.

  • War is like love, its easy to start but difficult to end.

  • Wow...that was deep

  • I didn't like him in past, but I will vote for him. He knows what he is talking about. He is not delusional like the rest. For how long we want to lie to people. What he says that is the fact.

  • AMEN!

  • My 23 y/o nephew is in Afghanistan. He was with a fellow soldier who was 19 y/o get his face blown off last week. For anyone who is FOR this war, please go tell the boy's parents why he died.

  • its not that easy to get out of war

  • I wish I had seen this video months and months ago. Ron Paul was - and is - right.

  • Ron Paul for President, if he doesn't Win, the System is Definitely Rigged !

Vote Ron Paul for President ...

  • I love this guy

  • He is absolutely right!

Afghanistan has been known since ancient times as the "cemetery of empires"

Mongols, british, soviets and in the very near futur........USA

The repercussions will be very very serious, the US risks being dismantled like the former Soviet Union, California, Texas all will ask for independence..

This is not science fiction, reality sometimes surpasses fiction. Richer States will not want to pay for poorer states and inevitably, there will be a split like 1865.

  • @PoseidonHermes It'd be a trip to go to an Afghan museum and see relics from each of those invasions...!!

  • @Ician100

I am with your. Ron Paul is the only strong contender against Obama. We need a president to get rid of the lobbyists in Washington and to stop the wars.

  • Ron Paul Debate Day Money Bomb, May 5, 2011! See Facebook Event for details. LibertyPAC

  • Pass the word on to everyone you know as quick as possible!!

    Ron Paul Day

    April 15th!

Where All go to local downtowns to rally for ron paul show him we are here to fight for him and he should run for president!

  • This is a man who calls a spade a spade.

  • I am a progressive and yes in many ways a socialist and I really like this republlican!

He has the approval ratings to win president so why have both parties done there best to make him disappear? Answer: Thay cant handle the truth!

  • Look how Soviets turned Uzbekistan and Tajikistan in civilized places. Maybe we can learn something from Lenin, Stalin, Khruschev and Brezhnev? We cannot leave Afghanistan in hands of savage tribesman! USA should give water supply, electricity and cell phones and broadband internet to every house in Afghanistan. That would civilize them. I would propose for taliban to found a new country for them, possibly in Rub Al Khali desert in Saudi Arabia. Afghanistan must become like Turkey!

  • I never thought I would live in a country in a state of perpetual war, with an enemy which can never be defeated. It is Orwell's 1984. What is most disturbing is that an entire generation accepts this with unquestioning obedience. Meanwhile, our founding fathers principles are being tread under foot. Our presidency has become a king. The powers that be make sure that there is no change to the beat of the war drums. Ron Paul is telling the truth.

  • Leave Afghanistan or not, the Taliban must be liquidated, de-balled, and exterminated by any means necessary. If our military can't do it, give us all guns and point them out.

  • Woah Ron Paul continues to be a broken clock that is right some times.

  • @rocktron2000 Whether you agree with him or not, your analogy is hardly accurate. It is actually quite easy to predict what he is going to say about an issue, since he, you know, actually has principles. I don't agree with him on a lot of domestic stuff, but at least I know, with accuracy, where he stands on issues.

  • You know, every time I hear some politician speaking what I like to hear, I begin to think, "Maybe this guy will do things differently." Then the guy gets into office and is manipulated by all the invisible puppet strings they don't show on CNN. Therein dies my once beloved patriotism. I would love, just once in my lifetime, to have a reason to resurrect it.

  • @twiggybumble Ron Paul cut those invisible strings long ago... look at his record and every speech he has made. :)

  • @peetrwilson I spent a large majority of yesterday noticing exactly that. It's a beautiful thing. I will be watching him closely in the near future. :)

*Gulps big glass of fresh air.. sighs contentedly..

  • Ron Paul / Rand Paul / Michele Bachmann 2012!!!

  • Ron Paul for President 2012! You have my vote and my whole families vote and I have a Big family!

  • notice he said 9/11 BOMBINGS

  • thats nice that he made a statement in opposition to fiscal conservatives, but at the end of the day hes still a republican himself. the same dullards responsible for seemingly every problem the country has ever experienced.

  • @mboundtogether the left right paradigm of divide and conquer is precisely why we are where we are at

  • @mboundtogether: this is an ignorant comment; you can't group him into any one side--he's just common sense! He doesn't need any money, or power--he's interested in helping people like you and me. Just because he's running republican this time doesn't mean he can't be right. Do your homework. :)

  • I wish I were there, so I could applaud.

  • Yo yo Ronnie knows his shit son!

  • Ron Paul for president!

  • why do i get the feeling that whenever this great man speaks the rest of the house are on their phones playing angry birds?

  • I wish more Republicans were like him.

  • STOP THE FKN WARS!

  • Thank you Mr. Paul, for your voice of reason. It's a shame we don't have a Ron Paul, in the Australian Federal Government.

  • I think that pulling out would be a bad idea. The whole reason we are confronting Al-Qaeda and the Taliban in the first place is because we decided to leave the problem alone. We let the Taliban and Al-Qaeda grow, and they attacked us. We can't repeat the same mistakes.

  • @Shaw640 - It would be a good idea for you to research Jimmy Carter's Administration. The 'Taliban' and 'Al-Qaeda', are products of the U.S. Military Industrial Complex. Search engine - 500 million dollars, Jimmy Carter, 1978 and Zbigniew Brzezinski. You can also find information in the Library of Congress.

  • @WeztheAussie does this have anything to do with congressman charlie wilson?

  • @Shaw640

I think you're looking at it wrong. They attacked us, not because we let them grow, but because we actively occupy and assist in the occupation of their territories.

  • @dpiddy022

Take a look at the last 30 years... Corporations have everything. workers have nothing. Look at the income distribution and ask if thats fair. How did this huge (and growing) gapo come up, through the unregulated free market that Ron Paul loves so much

  • @derbymetal why should it need to be regulated? if they won't pay you what you think you're worth, then don't work for them. it's that simple.

  • @blklightning330 Why should corporations be regulated.... hmm well ill wait till your job gets shipped overeseas before I answer that fully, Untill then I have to ask you what magical land you live in when you can just leave one job and automatically find another. It not "THAT SIMPLE"

  • @derbymetal i'm never a proponent of government intervention. they always manage to fuck it up. therefore, any plan is better than getting dumbass uncle sam involved, imo. okay, so maybe it's not as simple as quitting and finding new employment. but i'd rather it be that way than have our ever expanding, super nova government having a hand in it.

  • @blklightning330 Gonna have to disagree there. at least when the feds mess up we can (hypothetically vote them out) when trust everything to the private sector, as Mr. Paul and his people want, were at the mercy of people we cannot control.

  • Comment removed

  • Most of yer average citizens aren' t gonna sit thru hours of bullshit dribble from leftists and the neo cons while both push the same old tired ideas of how ppl hate us because we are "free and have religious freedom" n how important it is to invade other countries...reinstall governments that we will tolerate etc. So they never get to hear Ron Speak.....but wow how dense (or ) Frankly Evil...the other congressmen are that they don't take his advice. They are 1 or the other../shrug

  • Ron Paul is a retard. He's able to see through the foreign policy aims of the plutocracy but in reality he's their strongest supporter. Free Market my ass, Ron Paul is a moron.

  • correction: *country along with*

  • Agree with xxxresistance. Ron Paul is an AUTHENTIC patriot. Why can't the people who comprise the majority of Congress harbor the love for our country and along with the character that he possesses? I despise being on this giant ship of fools. Ignorance, greed and lack of pride is ruining our nation minute-by-minute! What a shame. What an unnecessary folly we continue to feed.

  • Proof our congress is a bunch of murderers: No one clapped when Dr. Paul was done, how could they not?

  • Unfortunatly the Feds fail on that task, becuase they arent held accountable due to an apethitic citizenry. Reagan and especially Bush II were allowed to promote un restrained market activity without notice untill it was too late. If citizens paid enough attention to the feds to vote out the feds who dont do their job, we wouldnt be having this problem.

  • @Aggie254. My point on libertarianism, is that it is premised on the idea that private citizens (corporations) will not become greedy and choke out the rest of us. If the government just sits back and lets corporations do what they want, only the strongest will prosper. they will take all power (money and jobs) and hold it over the rest of us as their serfs. Corpations have to be forced to play by fair rules. the only body that can do that is the Fed. Government.

  • @derbymetal corporations get money how? by stealing if from consumers? or maybe by serving their needs? In our "mixed economy" (lite socialism "only half the political prisoners!") companies have a second option, to lobby and become favored by the government.

  • Run Ron Run

info at Liberty Poet & Daily Paul

    websites

  • the more dead afghan men women and children the better ahahaha

  • This is why the pro-war "liberal" media, or the pro-war "Fair & Balanced media", never let Ron Paul or Kucinich get on TV.

  • .I disagree with Ron Paul 99.%of the time, but i respect his consistenty in his beliefs. (for the record i agree with him here) Hes consistently wrong, but at least he has a legit set of beliefs unlike Boehner, Cantor etc. Ron Paul will never be president because his beliefs lead to feudalism, but at least he actually thinks (wrongly) that pure libertarianism is a good thing. Unlike most of thwe repubs who dont even believe the crap they spew

  • @derbymetal - If I'm not mistaken the libertarian Constitution is what made America great. Can you please be more specific? You claim libertarianism will lead to feudalism? How? If anything the lack of respect for obeying the Constitution led to corporatism. When you have centralized power, there is a great incentive for corporations, lobbyists, and the military industrial complex to influence and control the Federal gov't. Let's get back to a Republic at the state and local level.

  • @derbymetal your an idiot

  • @420Robman : Right Im an idiot. I do not waste much time on the internet so I dont have time to put you in your place, but get back to me in a few years when this extreme libertarianism you all love so much makes you all slaves to the 1%.

  • Newt Gingrich voted down this video.

  • This is exactly why I HATE republicans and plan on voting democrat unless a Ron Paul clone comes to my state who would probably be a libertarian anyway. They want to cut NPR, fire teachers, cut food stamps for poor people, but heaven forbid they stop murdering people IN MY NAME WITH MY MONEY!

  • The US Government Helped Al Qaeda pull off the 9/11 Attacks.

I'm happy the stupid wars contributed greatly to bankrupting the USA. The end days of the collapse of the US will teach everybody a lesson they will never forget. I'm glad I don't have children, God help the women who have nursing babies.

  • @Michaelwiseguy your an ass hope you don't live in the USA boy!!!!!!!!

  • OVER 9000 People in this Video Agreed....Not even counting the people who did not see this video.Hum.Interesting.

RON PAUL MY VOICE ,MY FUTURE.RON PAUL 2012.

  • Who was the troll that disliked?

  • If anyojne seeing this really thinks that this guy is somehow "different" than his counterparts, I would ask you if you were also the same people running around with those magnetic flags on your car after 9/11? He is not different at all and if you cant decipher that from listening to him, you need to take some care in your decision making. "American people" werent interested in Afghanistan? What kind of bullshit forum exactly is this? Ron Paul is a bullshit artist, rep party knows this.

  • @mogilny89p

Hahaha, you're so transparent. First you say Ron Paul is 'no different' yet he is different than almost every Republican, and Democrat for that matter. For decades this man has fought for our Constitution and against the Bankers, Military Industrial Complex, NAFTA, GAT, Fraud, Waste, Police State, corruption, over taxation.

And then you say that he's "bullshit" and the Republican Party knows it??? Are you a proud Neocon or just a mindless delusional Ron Paul hater with no facts?

  • @mogilny89p yeah keep telling yourself that, sunshine.

  • @mogilny89p Ok mogilny89p, I'm a lefty-progressive-libertarian peace-radical who knows a troll when I see one. As one who was raised in a very progressive and liberal leaning household, I see only one answer to the madness and insanity left over by the last "Repub" to hold the office and continued by the new "Dem" who now holds it. That answer is Ron Paul. The media knows it, that's why they marginalize him. There is no left and right anymore, mogilny, there is only right and wrong.

  • @StanfordResearch

Not only that, this is battle between americans constitutionalists vs. New World Order globalists.

  • @mogilny89p You sir, are an idiot. Nobody in this country wanted a 10 year occupation of Afghanistan, NOBODY.

  • Run Ron Run

  • ok if we leave thats like saying to all those 17 18 19 years olds that lost there life for this jerk off to talk on the mic fuck you

  • @AmphibiousReconMSOB Then we stay and let more 17, 18, and 19 year olds die? You're a friggen genius. You must be our current foreign policy expert.

  • Ron Paul for President!

  • Ron Paul is my president.

  • Ron Paul will go down in history as a REAL patriot. God forgive this country.

  • @xxxresistance i wonder what matt dilahunty thought about this comment

  • @xxxresistance Well said!

  • Ron is wrong about something. We were not allies of the Taliban during the Russian war, because the Taliban did not exist then. The Taliban were formed by Pakistan in 1997.

  • @Ariaarari You are right, the Taliban did not essentially exist at that time, but what RP was talking about is with the Mujahidin which some (if not most or all) of them eventually formed the Taliban. We were supporting and allied with the Mujahidin against the Russians from the early 80's to the early 90's in order for the U.S. to throw a monkey wrench into Russia's expansion in the Middle East...Then of course what do WE do as a nation? We end up doing what Russia did!

  • @roadkillz78 Yes it's true Gulbadeen Hekmatyar supported by Pakistan was cruel then and is cruel now supporting the Taliban. The Mujahid who was assassinated by al-qaida on 9/9/2001 was warning the U.S about the Taliban and Al-qaida invading Afghanistan. I guess we're just finishing what the Russians started. Rumor has it the U.S coaxed Russia to invade Afghanistan so it can fail and have their vietnam. Karma is a bitch.

  • It's time to execute operation "Sound Money".

  • I'm going to make it as simple as possible.

    1. The Military Industrial Complex "invests" in "front-runner" Candidates

    2. "Front-runner" Candidate gets elected.

    3. "Representatives" give "aid" to the militaries all over the world with the condition that the "aid" be used to "buy American."

    4. The Military Industrial Complex makes TRILLIONS of dollars.

    5. Go to step 1.

It is at step three in this never-ending cycle that you come become a part of this.

  • And can we stop the military Chemtrail operations while we are at it??

  • The elections in 2012 wont be R vs D ...it will be stay vs get out

  • Its all about the MIC

  • Ron Paul 2012! No More Wars! End The Fed! Reclaim our Republic!

  • Godspeed Dr. Paul. You are truly this country's last hope.

  • Not so long ago the American people fell for Obama's beautiful words. Is the American people that forgetful? When will the American people realize that beautiful words don't necessarily mean anything? When will the American people wake up a...nd see that the only way for their voice to be heard is if it remained silent?

I beg you, people of America, stop voting. Your imprudent and hope-based voting culture is affecting the whole world! We need a real change and it has to start with you!

  • "Short of changing human nature, the only way to achieve a practical, livable peace in a world of competing nations is to take the profit out of war."

  • Fuck the globalists!

  • ABSOLUTELY RON PAUL FOR ME IN 2012!!!! I DON'T CARE IF HE'S 90 WHEN HE RUNS!!! THIS MAN SHOULD BE PRESIDENT!!!

  • @deadrepublicantv I'd like it too... tho I know not one thing would change, the congress would say let's make him a one term president.... and fight him tooth and nail on any good policy to help america.

  • @deadrepublicantv Trust me in 2012, Ron Paul won't be running anywhere lawlz

  • @deadrepublicantv The president shouldn't be 90 fucking years old.

  • @deadrepublicantv He's in his 70s just like the great Ronald Reagan...

  • Yeah!

  • The ruling elite in Washington think they are the world's greatest statesmen and must run the world, but the world's greatest statesman is their opponent, Ron Paul.

  • Fuck me and everyone who told me to support obama because we need a colored president. Ron Paul is the only candidate that i have a little trust with. I can't trust any candidate after I heard of the Illuminati.

  • @megafavoritehmong Dunno if Illuminism have had anything to do with reality since the mid nineteenth century. It's noteworthy that black Americans, and those who advocate for them, despise Obama for tarnishing their image, and serving the ruling class (corporate elite) as opposed to the other 99% of us (workers). I'm sorry you were convinced to vote for a person based on the color of his skin.

  • @megafavoritehmong - Bilderberg, CFR, Trilateral.. they don't go by "Illuminati" so much any more, or Free Masons.. but they are certainly out there. I agree with your post.

  • Ron Paul is the only politician that knows what's best for our country. We need him as president. We will not survive without him as president.

  • save your breath, they are long ago paid off and are now ownd by shadowie puppet masters, all the congress heres now in the house is ...blah blah blah, yada yada....is it the weekend yet?

  • I love that some representative just gave him 30 more seconds. :)

  • Thank you Ron. Your awesome!!! If the Federal Government fails to represent the people as they've proven in the past and perhaps its now time to start seriously thinking about the suspension of the Federal Government. All branches of the Federal Government for a while.

  • Thank you Ron. Your awesome!!!

  • The People have only one Representative.

  • I'm always left wondering how Ron Paul does it: Year after year standing before Congress exposing the lies, the folly, the tragedy of our foreign policy - a voice crying out in a wilderness!

  • The tragic irony of the US "operation" in Afghanistan is that just such occupation precipitated the downfall of another socialist republic - the USSR. Failing to learn from history, America shall be doomed (literally) to repeat it....

If it please God, run Ron run. Ron Paul 2012!!!

  • He should have gotten a standing ovation for that... RIGHT ON RON!

  • RP 2012!!

  • Very well said/spoken though this would make too much sense to pass such a legislation Senator Paul. The gov works backwards not forward.... our attention is on Japan thats all the mainstream media is reporting these days. Seems most have almost forgotten there is even a US occupation/war still going on; the zombie/kool-aid tv news doesn't talk about it anymore....

  • Ron Paul just went off on the flock of sheep that is Congress. More people need to get behind this man, or more importantly get behind his ideology on foreign and monetary policy.

  • How can there be 339 likes and only 301 views? Something must be wrong with the counting on youtube.

  • @lk804 This happens a lot I don't know why I have seen it a lot on other channels that I follow.

  • @Mathiassss I got to this video through facebook and there are 1,500 likes on there. So, im guessing they only count YouTube views but that still doesnt explain the YT count difference. Hrm that could be just FB likes and maybe they actually didnt watch the vid. IDK :/

  • I was a member of a local Ron Paul meetup group three years ago and I will join again. We need Dr. Paul more than ever!

  • how do you find this video on cpan's website? I been searching for awhile I can't find it.

  • Ron kicks ass, period.

  • Now we're on the Libya! Why are we still listening to these neo-cons?

  • Ron Paul is the only person that could potentially make the rest of the world respect America again. At the moment America IS Public Enemy Number 1

  • @nzhelo He's not the only one but among the best known. Kucinich never fails to warn those who listen. He holds nothing back and is especially vicious against his own party, due to disappointment. He tears a new one in Obama without restraint, and for the right reasons.

Since about January his message has been truly profound. Here's a short teaser:

    youtube [dot] com/watch?v=Y6YcOcdTnlc

  • Someday in the history books--if we still have the means to print them in the future--will point to Ron Paul as the only warning voice in Government trying to save America from it's addiction with Welfare & Warfare. I hardly think the likes of Obama, Palin, McCain, Gingrich, Hillary, or Gore will be remembered for much good.

  • @blank557 Obama will certainly be remembered almost as well as Bush, and for the same reasons. The wealth of the country is being stripped faster now than at any time in the past. The ruling class has an almost complete lock on the national government. Warfare is just one of many methods to serve that class. 'Welfare' is too broad a term as you use it. Social welfare can be a boon to profit and production. Some forms of it are widely considered a basic human right.

  • @ZorkFrobozz

The only rights we have are inalienable rights. No where in the constitution does it guarantee a standard of living, only the pursuit of happiness. Where are the checks and balances for abuse of social programs? None. Name me one country, ANY country who has been able to sustain its social programs! The only people who profit from welfare programs are gov't employees--whose pay and benefits suck away half the money taxed to provide for the poor as middlemen.

  • I hope he runs in 2012. RP is a true advocate of liberty.

  • Ron Paul for president! He's my president!

    \

  • We need more Ron Paul's in Washington.

  • Powerful, and influential speaker. Ron Paul 2012!

  • i have no doubt in my mind, that this man was sent here by GOD!

  • Can you actually vote for him this time? I felt he should of won, people fell for the good ole Obama scam, HELLO PEOPLE if it sounds to good to be true it is... This is true because he tells you the truth and everyone else in office is against it.. Let alone Ron Paul is the Champion of the Constitution which means something to me, since JFK every president after has wiped their ass with the constitution. FACT.

  • @kalvin6996 In modern national elections there is a very simple way to discern which candidates could be legitimately for the people, from which are corporate goons who are for the ruling class. If a candidate has been allowed by the media and his party to become a true contender for office, you can be certain that the common man is not who he plans to serve.

  • Comment removed

  • @DMFK1981 That kind of talk prevents anyone new who hears it from considering "this man."

  • @ZorkFrobozz Perhaps. But if my one little comment swayed the way someone thought about Ron Paul, chances are, they are too dumb to understand what is really going on in this world.

  • @DMFK1981 I'm sorry but most people are "too dumb." Most people prefer not to think for themselves, they prefer to be told what to believe. It's well known that in general, people need to be led, which is why propaganda is so powerful. You must be very gentle when guiding a sheep off the path that the heard is taking, or it will bolt.

  • @DMFK1981 Well put. I'll recant my initial statement.

  • @DMFK1981 Thank you, sir. That's more than I wanted or expected. ;)

I used to have a similar style. I often used the term "wake up." I noticed people often rejected my message, no matter how well explained or how little they could argue against it. Eventually, I thought of the frog boiling in water and I changed my whole style. It's hard. It took me almost two years to take my own dad's goggles off. He believed all the crap he'd been taught since grade school and now he sees clearly.

  • @ZorkFrobozz You make very good points. And You are right about the frog in water. I think for me, I am so frustrated that people cant see what is really "right and wrong" that I just get belligerent thinking no one will listen anyway. I am also scared for our Country's future, and might be panicking a bit.

  • America Under Siege - Revelations (On Facebook) Go Ron Paul!! We Love this Man!!

  • I just watched this video on Paul's official site... but I thought I had better click on this one to give the C4L an extra view and an extra thumbs up. :)

  • we should leave now, not the end of the year.

  • BAM!!! RP just found some mojo. The media will have a wild time trying to blame the coming collapse on THE TRUE conservative, if he runs, wins and the music stops. This man makes me proud to be a world citizen and hopeful for the future.

  • @66chevyo It's been evident for quite a while now; the collapse will be blamed on the working class. This is already clear with the union busting and the "reasons" given for it.

  • @ZorkFrobozz I havn't heard of anyone banning or disbanding Unions. I've heard of the 'Right to Work' laws being passed. I think it gives people the choice whether or not the want to be in a Union. State jobs should not be protected. If a Govt worker goes on strike, that's grounds for termination, PERIOD. Collective bargaining in the private sector is feasible. "Capitalism" and "Corporations" receive the blame. Real Capitalism is LONG gone. The STATE and it's supporters are the problem.

  • @66chevyo I'm in agreement with almost everything you just said and I stand by my assertions. Despite the propaganda, the result of 'Right to Work' doesn't serve workers by allowing "choice," or in any other way. It legalizes practices that allow laws to be ignored by employers. It's main objective is to change the balance of income and profit between employers and workers in new ways. It's effect on this balance is essential the same as that of NAFTA, but not nearly as extreme.

  • Oh, and to your point about unions being there to somehow lower working conditions for non-union members: For approximately every union job, there is one non-union job that must offer the same benefits to attract an employee. Unions raise standards for all workers; they absolutely do not lower conditions!

  • @66chevyo The state and it's supports are totally to blame. A public sector union is not a supporter of the state, it's a group who protects itself from certain aspects of it. Whether or not public unions should be allowed to strike, I think you go too far. Would you tell me why you believe this? Give an example illustrating how your belief could be manifested, please.

  • @ZorkFrobozz State jobs are low prospect, uncompetitive, undemanding, low paying, and secure jobs. They are handouts shoveled from the public purse. As the Government works together to write new powers for itself into being, bad things happen. One example, It's created vast numbers of parasitic jobs which suck the life out of our economy and our living standards. Yet, everyone feels entitled to a handout . ENTITLED to greedily raise labor costs, S.S. (welfare), Medicare, unemployment etc...

  • @ZorkFrobozz Unions can be accredited with doing some positive things. The damage they do might far exceed the good. Union members are employees who work together to prevent other employees from competing for their jobs in the labor market. This helps them working together (using strikes, violence, etc.) to coerce more money from spirited entrepreneurs and lower efficiency. You might be willing to compete and work harder for less in order to feed you family. Union members might attack you tho :(

  • @66chevyo Occasionally, especially decades ago when unions were new, they did cause some severe damage to their members. Your definition of unions is one I've never heard before. The objective is to prevent abuse of employees. Before unions, there was no standard 40 hour work week. Would you prefer to work 12 hours a day 7 days a week to make ends meet like before? How about we bring back race, gender, religious discrimination, too. Maybe we should also remove health care for 80% of us.

  • @ZorkFrobozz Unions use violence, intimidation, and the power to impede production etc. In a free market and free society. Labor prices are determined by supply and demand. This is how the price mechanism works. When labor prices are artificially raised (violence, strikes, coercive laws like unemployment) above where supply and demand prices them. Capital that is coercively usurped by Unions is enjoyed by it's members. BUT, it's now unavailable to other laborers, destroying jobs, creating unempl

  • @ZorkFrobozz Much misinformation is introduced by Socialism. The popular nonsense that lowers the standard of living of society. The idea of livable wages is a farce. The idea of a workers democracy is a farce. Government workers who receive tax dollars, using COERCION is laughable!!! They should all be fired. The free market allows people to quit their jobs in lieu of higher pay. In life you have to compete and produce something. You get what your worth to society. Prices (labor) should fall!!!

  • Thank You Ron Paul for speaking for THE PEOPLE! God Bless You!
