nice 'pure heart' lesson!! quite comprehensive whammy bar tech bro Ponch. if u dont mind,there's some more awesome whammy bar tech out there, maybe u can add one of the signature 'screaming badhorsie' whammy bar technique which is done by floyd rose's expert mr.Eddie Van Halen or Dimebag's famous pig 'one octave up' squelling screaming harmonics.

it's ok man no need to sorry, it's lo quality that's why it's kinda blurry, the lesson duration kinda quite long, and at that time my internet connection kinda sucks, so i need a low quality to be able to upload it faster.

I have one of those....the whammy on it is pretty good, but I would probably buy a set of better tuners (the standard ones are okay, but go out of tune with these) there are also floyd roses (or locking tremolos), which you can do dive bombs easier, and they also stay in tune better.

nice video, your a great teacher! i learned how to do a divebomb even if my tremolo is not floating. i use stratocasters and it's just normal tremolo like yours. thank you!

Yes i basically agree with butchlester, but sometimes the whammy set up quite depends on how we want to play it. some people adjust their whammy to their preference though. hope your whammy is fixed by now.

exactly, I guess the best way is to play guitar with Floyd Rose tremolo, 'cause it gives you much more options to do Up and Down whammy actions.

hi gmfrk6, the answer is no. but my point about this video is with normal standard tremolo you still can make cool sound just like all floyd rose tremolo does.. don't rely on tools so much, sometimes we need to push the limit to the max, check out Jeff Beck, he also uses normal tremolo too, he's my inspiration to make this humble video.

i wouldnt dive all the way down with a fixed bridge, you will snap it clean off the body...

my suggestion is by a guitar with a floyd rose, and make sure it is a double locking tremelo system.

Yeah, but the only guitars that come with Floyds nowadays are the guitars made by Floyd Rose. I'd sooner get an Ibanez with an Edge Pro.

Try to play it with extra care, do not overdo.. that's the rule. I don't even need a use of Floyd whammy anymore..since I've found out how to adapt and use my standard (down only) whammy properly. Have fun with your whammy my friend!
