Don't listen to McCain he was severely sodomized and tortured when he was a prisoner of the Vietnam war and is mentally unstable. Why do you think Biden called him crazy because he is.
I just dont understand: presidential candidates(and bono) giving support to American Idol? Why are they doing that? Isnt it just a singing competition? (Im from holland, pleas help ; )
American Idol made a charity episode called Idol Gives Back which aimed to raise funds from people's donation that night for people suffering from poverty, AIDS, and malaria in Africa..the show was supported by musicians and celebrities in order to encouraged viewers to donate
Obama and Hillary keep trying to raise the ante on each other with false promises of who can pull the troops out the fastest without any responsible consideration of what the consequences would be to the U.S. and the world, least of all the millions of Iraqis who would surely perish for ANY cooperation they had with the west.
John McCain is the only candidate who really cares about life outside of the relevance of a vote.
Responsible Americans know Mccain is the most sincere.
Fox set it up so McCain is in front of a nice homey background with soft lighting to soften his age (like Barbara Walters on her TV specials) and wrote him funny lines while the two Democrats were lit with stark lighting and put infront of boring backdgrounds and have them say boring political standard comments.

Scores:
HRC: 7. Actually came across well. Seemed sincere and fairly pleasant.
Obama: 3. Just terrible. He actually looks smaller, like he can't fit in his seat or something. He should have been standing, like HRC, or had a tighter close-up of his face. His campaign bungled this one, badly. Esp, since his video aired Wed.
McC: 8. His MI/FL joke may turn some off, but it shows he takes chances. HRC and O come across as too safe. And his will be talked about most.

Oh, come on! The whole reason any of the three are on Idol is for politics! They want to win the White House...and that's it. And it may be that one reason why the Dems didn't poke at each other, or at McC is because, the Dems are still running for the nomination. McC already has it. And so what if he poked fun at the Dems' mess. It's not his fault that the DNC invalidated MI and FL. The Dems did that. It's all politics, with a Dem vs. Dem, and GOP vs. Dems. Saying it's not political is silly.

Paranoid, much? Chances are the candidates' campaigns supplied the material, not Idol. As for the content, Obama leads in the youth vote, and so he can take it for granted, and he did. McCain can't and this might explain the difference in the videos. Humor-wise, McC has some, HRC is, well, HRC. But, Obama has never been funny, that I know of. Yes, he did MonNightFootball, but ESPN wrote that. And that was it for humor. McC's vote joke was biting and did elicit laughs. Obama may just not be funny
We dont want more jokes MCCANE!!!!They did nothing the last seven yrs. What is the agenda of two companies that take so much from ppl. and do so little to advance society with helping those with so little? Is it that they cant take from them? or is this just a part of the sheep's clothing? Disney and Fox are a part of the problem! I'm sorry!
I was a bit surprised at John McCain's humor compared to Hill and Obama. Even though his jokes were a bit corny, I think he did a good job appealing to younger people.
I saw this last night, but i didn't really hear what McCain said. Now that i did, damn he called Simon illegal! And he insulted two states. Not the best speech to give when your running for president.
Michigan didn't have a democratic primary and none of the democratic candidates campaigned in Florida. Both states moved primaries forward to be part of Super Tuesday screwing with the voter's awareness and the delegate count. Get a clue.
Wow, Obama recieved a huge applause from the audience compared to Clinton and McCain. McCain did pown michigan & Florida, kinda smart how he through that in there.

What "War" (his claim to fame) did McCain fight in anyway?....The Civil War?
Psychics are predicting John McCain will be dead of natural causes by November.

Hey McCain, that was pretty funny. Almost as funny as "Bomb, bomb, bomb, bomb, bomb Iran."
Very professional. And you even need these jokes on a fucking teen star search show?
