these two were fantastic together.....saw Santana opening for the dead in golden gate park around 1970?? Garcia came out at the end of Santanas set and both ripped it up.........

This video was actually shot at the Hollywood Roosevelt for SHOWTIME not the Biltmore. I was Ruben Blades Sound Engineer/Production Manager at the time. Just a side note, Steve Jorden got so drunk during the show later on he wound up making a complete Ass of himself and had to be escorted off stage and out of the hotel. Theres no business like show business ;)

@productionguy1 This set was smoking - so was the rest of the show - but we produced it for HBO/Cinemax, not Showtime, and shot at the Biltmore Ballroom in downtown LA.
