wake up, so called journalist! If freedom of speech is lost, your the fist fricken retard out on the streets. If you don't like America, then get the hell out! By the way, the Obama ship is sinking faster than the titanic. So you may well be out of a job soon anyway.
This journalist is crazy the police are being pretty patient....what??????? can you repeat.............for this journalist I would say out loud people have been pretty patient for too long we should jump on these policeman and kill some leaders of our own country or fore-wane
yes they are, and bailout the people. they were throwing around the term anarchist left and right regardless of what they were talking about. college kids, people protesting for jobs, tibetians, etc. if you were protesting you were an anarchist. if you were watching, you were an anarchist. that is how they do it. then you insert their provacatuers, make it look like it was the "anarchists", and you can get away with anything.
theres a vid on youtube of protesters calling out the provocatuers
Changedachannel. I am actually an Atheist. So you are incorrect on that account as well. Strike two, try again.
I am an Atheist who loves America, am Pro Life, for Homosexual rights and I have no qualms with religion, even Islam or the more radical religions. I instead disagree with them but I do not try to use violence to force people to believe my ideas. Instead I actually appreciate the fact that other people have different ideas, unlike yourself.
Rather than allowing people to conduct their business, not just the coffee shop owner, but the customers who go there for coffee, you would be willing to hold up in the streets and throw trash cans...trash cans owned by the coffee owner probably...at the police? Please explain this to me? That freedom is not what I Would call free. I would call that anarchy...oh wait. That's who is actually protesting. Freedom through destruction is your type of freedom gotcha.
you would have even heard of this if it wasnt for the anarchists. And dont stereo type anarchism. It just like anything, has many factions. Im not myself but do like the wise vision of Emma Goldman Anarchism stands for the liberation of the human mind from the dominion of religion
The liberation of the human body from the dominion of property,
Liberation from the shackles and restraint of government
It stands for social order based on the free grouping of individuals.
LOL in your dreams. your hero emma goldman was just another disgusting kike with a "philosophy" meant only to destroy western civilization. if you want your freedom so badly, stop being a pussy, go out into the wilderness and become a hunter/gatherer. no one is stopping you.
But what freedom would you prefer? There are many views on what freedom is. You don't think I am free to start my own coffee house, else you wouldn't throw a brick through the window. How would you be willing to die to make sure I am not free, or does your freedom not allow me to serve people coffee? Would you be willing to die to protect my freedom or to remove it? Killing is a way of dying and I doubt you would protect my right to own a coffee house. Therefore I do say you would kill.
And last but not least, your profile behind your name says it all. "Live free or die". Who would you be willing to "kill" in order to get your viewpoint across? How far would you be willing to go in order to "force" people to believe as you do? I think I have made my point here. If you want to continue having a civil discussion please "start" having one and stop resorting to petty attempts at converting people to your viewpoint without looking at both sides.
where are all the videos of violence against the Washington DC protesters of our government? Oh wait, those people aren't anarchists. They are actually soldiers, veterans, business owners, workers and parents. None of those people tried to burn down the white house. I don't remember black people throwing acid on police during the MLK march on Washington in the 60s. Oh wait, those weren't anarchists either. They also loved America.
The first amendment is not jsut about the freedom of speech but also the freedom of expression. Therefore you think that your right to express your opinion should be protected. On that point you are correct, but at the same time the right for the business to express their right to express their right to do business--which is another form of expression--is also protected. You seem to be the only one who doesn't recognize that freedom. Who is the unamerican person here?
I like your last comment though. "You had better make sure your on the right side... " You sound just like the anarchists who would resort to violence before they would have a conversation. Are you planning on forcing change on people? Maybe you work for Obama and want to force people through violence to think like you. Taxation = violence by the way. Who is unamerican here? use words instead of violence to get your viewpoint out and heard and see if people want to listen to you.
What I saw in all the video footage, was a peaceful protest.
up UNTIL the police told them to disburse. At which time, be it right or wrong they should do just that and reform somewhere else or if the police are really being out of line, make a dicision to stand or flee. I'd say flee, regroup, storm them in numbers, try not to beat them up and zip tie there hand & feet together and drop them off at the police station as a citizen's arrest and press charges.
permits are not about asking the government for permission. Rather they are about securing the right for people to protest peacefully and securing that people and property are not harmed. You do not have a right to walk into someone's house and boycott them, so why should you have the right to stand in front of a business and stop people form entering that business? Who is unamerican here? Permits and police are a means of securing that people and property are not harmed.
funny how nobody stopped that man from talking on the megaphone? A permit is needed because it is a cost of not only publicly displaying your message to the world but is also a cost of business for the businesses that are shut down because of the protests. The people who work at the businesses don't get paid for work, the business doesn't make money all at the cost of people saying what they want. Where is the freedom of speech for the businesses who want to serve their customers pancakes?
Where is the civic responsibility of those business owners to uphold the constitution and prevent tyranny? Why would you want to destroy our country for one days sale of pancakes? The reason those unpatriotic, whiny business owners owe everything to patriots who made it possible for them to have a business in the first place! You had better make sure your on the right side...
"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the RIGHT of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances"
The permits are a joke and in themselves unconstitutional? Do you really think the founders wanted citizen to ask the government for permission to speak or gather?
exactly. This is the fight against the NWO, its a shame that the police are not siding with the protestors, America could really use their help. I mean, we as a people need to directly confront any means to further globalize governmental and economic power. More centralized world government, also means less freedom for you. G20 summit is a direct attack against what your ancestors had fought for.
Why do you hate America and the constitution of the United States? Why do you think you have a right to even voice your opinion here? Oh wait... the first amendment.
That's NOT true. Some people hide their identity at protests because of a better sense of history. They KNOW the military is taking pictures and making lists. They also KNOW that being on those lists may end up getting you MURDERED in the street by a guy on a uniform, with a badge, a gun, and some flag on his sleeve! Some just want their PRIVACY respected. Depending on the protest, a mask isn't such a bad idea.

Live free or die is about as American as you can get. One would even say it's a motto... oh wait a min... it is an American Motto!!! Imagen that!!!
Try reading Thomas Jefferson and the likes. It'll do you some good, atleast you'll be able to understand and see what some of us are talking about.

Imagine... actual citizens actually protesting... as if they have a right to do that or something.
Miss Report-a-lot needs to read our constitution and bill of rights more and listen to corporate talking points less.
