My step grandma is dying from this and is in the hospital now... Im 15. Im wondering what braindead means.....? please explain will she be able to live
@DbNotoriousAim I am not sure what you are saying, but "braindead" means "a medical condition defined as a complete and irreversible cessation of brain activity" (Quote from Wikipedia), so I think that means she is not recovering, but I am not sure. But keep praying for her. God bless.
@Jessica141996 Thanks. Did you recently have a similar story? Since posting this, I had a few people post about how they had a relative that passed on from this.
My mum died in '94 from this very thing. The hardest part of it all is that the last time I saw her I was just leaving the house and she was perfectly fine! No signs, symptoms, nothing. I come home and she's dead on the kitchen floor. No warning, no chance to say goodbye. All the best to you and David's family, may he rest in peace.
In 2008 i have two brain aneurysms, i have two big scars on both sides of my head, but im alive and healthy. In 2000 my mum had the same, but she didnt survive, she was only 38 :( So i know how you feel and by best wishes to you.
@wtfjaftw Well that all depends how serious is the aneurysm. If they can coil thats good, on my case...well i dont complain, like they say, scars are the man beauty...or something like that :D
my heartfelt sympathy goes out to you and you family i lost my dad on the 16th of febuary this year of the same thing 12 hours before my dad was just a normal living breathing man who was never ill in his life apart from the ocassional cold the next he colapses and never wakes up again he was 59 years old and the sadest thing is in march he would have been 60 and making plans to retire rip dad
I realise this video was put on a little while ago but I lost my girlfriend just yesterday to the same thing & you have my heartfelt sympathy for your loss, it is a sudden shock to lose someone just like that, may all their souls rest in peace
I'm sorry. I know how it feels. My aunt had a brain Aneurysm in 2006. She's been in the same state for 3 years. She was my second mother and it scars me for life knowing i was never able to say bye to her before i left new york. And i will never see her alive again. It's horrible how some things happen. How it has to happen to a good man or a good woman. And especially if they have children. Rest in peace Colleen; rest in peace David
Thanks Liz, I been doing some research, and this is something that sometimes is preventable, but not always... but it has to be detected first, which requires tests.
Sometimes knowledge helps us put a loss like this into perspective. He was my son's age and that's just too young, but most folks wouldn't know they had a need for those tests. Hugs!
