  • Hey Flytey... the hare - good times eh (another child of kentwell - Peregrine here..:)

  • I grew up right next to Kentwell, I walked my dog there everyday. I remember going there as a Tudor child, I had to 'dress' up and talk as a Tudor. I played with a wooden cup and ball. I also remember very rowdy nights at The Hare as a teenager!

  • Hello, we aren't paid and yes, we make our own costumes. It's interesting and fun and you learn new skills..or rather old skills that are forgotten.

  • I love this video! I'm a re-enactor at Kentwell too, it's funny to see myself on the video-didn't even notice it being done! It definitely does capure the place well, good work!

  • I'm a Kentwell re-eneactor, we aren't paid anything. Fantastic video, really captures the atmosphere. Thanks Annie/Anne Smith

  • i went there in year 6 at primary school, how much do you reckon these actors get paid.

  • A comment placed on one of my 2005 Kentwell Films says that everybody is unpaid, and that they make their own costumes .... if that is true , then the "actors" are to be congratulated , as they are really magnificent , in bringing the past to life on one of Kentwell Halls Recreation Days .

  • Yeah. They are all volunteers. I have a friend who has been doing Kentwell for a while.

  • @hjdnad i was achly doing this with people DID NOT GET PAID for thism NO JOKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @yourmumisadick I stayed there for about a week working as one of the maids in the house, and i loved every bit of it, although your not paid you have so much fun and i had a friend make the costume because im awful at it. but its so much fun in the evenings!

  • A lovely film, well done!

  • wow. i would like to say that there are many 'Tudors' that say thankyou for portraying kentwell in such a carm and magical way

  • Please pass on my thanks to the many 'Tudors' who took part, they were all magnificent! I hope that the weather has not been too unkind to you all over the past few weeks.

Also nice to see some of the faces in the 2005 films , reappearing in this years 2007 reconstruction.
