All those people were expecting something special and Jackie delivered once again. Absolutely beautiful performance and the crowd was rocking because of it! Jackie was the center of attention there, she is the one with the platinum CD, she is the one with her name plastered in big letters on the National TV screen, she is the one working with David Foster on her next CD, and she is the one that we enjoy so much.. onward and upward little star.. you ARE the BEST!

Pretty good. It felt like that she was rushing it a bit, but that might also be because it's a Disney production.

Hopefully that she'll grow up to be NOT like Charlotte Church. Also once a great voice, but like many child performers that become major entertainers, they become consumed by the industry.

Think about it. Think about the words. Think about what you're saying, or singing rather. Why on Earth would you want to rush it? Especially for/during a Requiem.

With all due respect, and at the risk of sounding "elitist"; I'm a bit of a purist. I tend to like the original versions of MOST classical or neo-classical pieces. I will also admit that it would be unfair to compare a 10-year-old to Sarah Brightman. And as I originally stated, it's pretty good. I wouldn't necessarily say that it's "great" because well, being 10, I'm sure that there's plenty of time for more training, more growth and development (vocally).

I actually stumbled upon this because one of my other friends on Facebook posted it. And I came to check it out because it IS "Pie Jesu". But like I also said (and not a fault of Jackie's), but the song's "Disneyfied", and having produced my own concerts for charity; I can see how they could have sped up the song (compared to the original) BECAUSE it IS Disney. Pitch-wise, she's great. But she lacks Sarah's "ooomph" behind it; which will come with age and experience.
