With almost falling to the dark side and losing a loved one, his emotions were comprimised and was not fit to be on the Council. He remained one of the most influential Jedi Masters, especially with becoming a mentor of Anakin Skywalker.

I assume that some of them were either killed in battle or they just retired, like the two older Jedi from the library in "Clone Wars" (the old lady librarian and the old man who helped Ahsoka find her stolen saber). Some of them were probably killed in the Geonosis arena battle too.

Luminara Unduli was not on the Council, she was just a Jedi Master. Shaak Ti did not die during Order 66, instead travelling to Felucia where she was killed later by Vader's Secret Apprentice. Obi-Wan Kenobi did not sit on the Council during Episode II - he reported to them, as all Jedi do, but was never made a member until Episode III.

@DanielMS2010 No, Shaak Ti did not die on Felucia by Vader's apprentice because Vader never had an apprentice. That was only in the force unleashed. Shaak Ti was killed by General Grevious. It is in a deleted scene on the revenge of the sith dvd. But everyting else you said was true.

Coleman Kcaj died in eppisode II didnt he. And Shaak Ti, Yoda, and Obi wan Kenobi, are the only members of the council who survived order 66. but Shaak ti was killed a few years later by Vader's apprentice
