  • so you CAN? load YOUR OWN drum sounds and assign them to a pad RIGHT?? Can they be wav format?

  • @AZchurro99 You can indeed. The sounds need to be converted to the 2Box dsnd file format which can be easily done with freeware.

  • Would this be good for concerts? I need something that has a good price.

  • @zlmoirm Many people including top name drummers use 2Box live, whether it be the full kit or just the module. I myself have played 20-30 2Box shows without any issues, just great sounds!

  • HI,

I have two questions. For the Module Plus HH combo that's in your store. What is the estimate with shipping to Los Angeles in U.S. Dollars?

Does the kit include a HH stand or do I have to get it separately?

    Thank You.

  • @einarabelc5 A hi-hat is indeed included, all that is required to be added are sticks, stool and headphones! Please contact us at the store with your zip code for a full quote. Thank you.

  • @TheESPCat The higher you tune the head, the more resonance you will get.

  • If the Canadians don't pull through for me, this Yankee is ordering from you!

  • @polishbroadcast We'd be glad to help and it would probably be less expensive for you - drop us a line!

  • these are far superior than any other electronic kit ive seen including roland

  • how much is this kit? without saying visit the website...pls

  • @toth1971 £1799.00gbp and we ship around the world. However, if you visit our site, you might find some helpful deals on there.

  • I've got a couple of questions:

    1. Can I use Ddrum Triggers (used with acoustic drums) connect to the 2Box Drumit Five Module?

    2. Are there User Kits?

    3. Can I tune the drums and choose the size of the drums and cymbals?

  • @KevinVanRillaer You can indeed use Ddrum triggers. You can store 100 kits on the module and all 100 can be kits that you have created. You can also tune the drums and cymbals. I hope that helps?

  • There's a bloke here, at watch?v=1a4gjYAVHe doing a home demo of his Drumit, and he (eventually) gets down to some serious work on the hats. I have to say that, while the rest of the kit thrashes the competition on all other points, the hats are a sad disappointment. My playing is seriously hi-hat intensive, with lots of sizzle and subtlety, and I have heard a high level of that from Roland and Yamaha but the 2Box hat sounds thin, weedy and lacking in sizzle. Any ideas, solutions? I want one!

  • @Gairlochan Having not yet seen the video, naturally different hi-hat samples sound very different and give a different trigger response. A good number of people have also created their own samples from their SD2 or BFD software and have no issues in hi-hat sensitivity. That said be it Roland, Yamaha or 2Box, while they can provide an excellent feel, none are totally able to replicate a real hi-hat in terms of feel....yet!

  • ok i checked out the website but all the prices are in ??? so i have no idea what the us dollar amount is..if you could help me out with the amount on the basics ..(im slow i guess..sorry) .. i would apreciate it ...thank you

  • @rickface13 Just drop us an email and we will give you the USD prices and with your ZIP code, we will advise what, if any, the shipping charges are.

  • Hi, I am thinking of having an extra cymbal so there'd be 9 tracks altogether (3 cymbals, 3 toms, HH, Snare & Bass Drum). What'd you suggest to do recording 9 tracks at the same time as I am aware that 2box module has 8 outputs?

  • @SugarKane8OY TYou could send two balanced signals via one out put (perhaps two crashes or two toms?)

  • Great drumkit and quality beyond Roland but not on a budget £1799 = 2340$ US

  • That sounds pretty damn realistic :O

How would you recommend this compared to the Roland TD9 KX?

  • @CompleteDistortion The TD-9 is an excellent kit and offers some nice training features such as the Scope and record option, but if it is the sounds that matter most to you, then Roland is unable to compete as they used processed sounds, 2Box use real samples.

  • Why is the base drum kicker a tennis ball?

  • @FireflyIII This is the unique 2Box beater design.

  • I have had mine for 9 months and they are AWESOOOOME! Some tips - checkout in this vid the way I mounted my toms->

    watch?v=YpjZWujoTDY

They hoover on top of the rack rod rather than hanging on the side. That´s not how it was intended ;-) , but its a lot more sturdy (less swaying...) , and you get closer to the bass drum, which is a problem with the 2box standard set up otherwise. Having them mounted higher also helps when you are 6 foot 2 like me....Cheers, and hail to Swedish Engineering :-D

  • can we add more pads to the module?

    \m/_

  • @ditoarch06 You can indeed. The standard set has two extra inputs available. However, you can naturally increase that using splitter cables that we sell. For example, take a tom rim trigger and allocate it to another pad, perhaps a crash cymbal trigger or another tom. Multiple options.

  • I have a question about the pads. These black rings you use for playing a rimshot for instance, are very loose. Is that how it should be or not??

  • @DDavidov17 Do you have a mark 1 kit?

  • @eDrumAttic i don't know. It says Mk2 1.0, maybe thats what you mean. If not, where could I find which i have??

Btw. sorry for my late awnser, have some trouble posting a comment :D

  • @DDavidov17 I think you may have a mark 1 kit. The mark two improved many areas such as this.

  • one major question...... how much?

  • @drummin4InTheShadows prices and details are on our website.

We ship worldwide and stock standard 2Box kits, expanded kits, modules, pads, cymbals. hardware and are a recommended 2Box dealer check out the eDRUM ATTIC website for details. There is even FREE kit shipping to many countries.

  • @eDrumAttic can you shoot me an estimate for this one?

  • @drummin4InTheShadows Drop us an email with your address and we will be happy to assist.

  • @drummin4InTheShadows £1799.00gbp, but check out website for deals.

  • what websites can I buy them from?

  • @slashdeciple99 We ship worldwide and stock standard 2Box kits, expanded kits, modules, pads, cymbals. hardware and are a recommended 2Box dealer check out the eDRUM ATTIC website for details.

  • so much efforts to simulate an acoustic drumset ;) ... anyway .. amazing wonder of technology

  • @Dubconferencedotorg With so many venues putting noise restrictions in place, it's technology like this that bands are turning to. The boss here uses an acoustic kit on tour with one band with mesh heads on it and the 2Box module and everyone things it's a full acoustic kit.

  • My Dad's got these, they kick ass!

Except the Bass drum is really quite, and I think he has 3 cymbals instead of 2.

  • @senz20 You can always increase the individual pad volume or the gain or threshold controls, that would sort it for you?

  • where can i buy these from the U.S.?

ive been looking for them on the internet for a week and still cant find them

    please respond

  • @slashdeciple99 The kits are not available in US stores. However, the kits start at around $2,885usd and we ship to America on a regular basis. Please contact us directly for a detailed quote.

  • how much do these cost in U.S.D.?

  • @slashdeciple99 The kits start at around $2,885usd and we ship to America on a regular basis. Please contact us directly for a detailed quote.

  • Hey, can u use roland mesh pads for the 2bow and vice versa?

  • @xXD4rKwO7fXxGaming You can indeed with the exception of the hi-hat pad. Only the 2Box will work with the 2Box module.

  • @eDrumAttic kk, thanks =)

  • Can i get the side stick sound on snare?

  • @lajlabg You can indeed, you can assign sounds to the tom rims as well.

  • I've just tried this kit in store today, and I have to say that the module is great, but pads are far too much unnatural, too much bounce. There was Roland TD-20 straight beside it so I could immediately compare, and the feel on TD20 is far far better.

But finally we have better sounding module than TD-20 and whats best, you can make your own sample library and upload it to module,so for now, the best solution is to use TD20 pads for best feel and 2box module with bounced Toontrack Superior samples

  • @fallko76 You could also use twin ply heads (which Roland use) to dial out some of the bounce on the 2Box pads if you prefer less?

  • @fallko76 Hmm, to much bounce? Same bounce as with acoustic drums, since you have free floating drum heads on the 2box. I guess it is a matter of taste. I tried them alongside each other in the drum store and 2box won on all accounts, except maybe sturdiness of the rack. The aluminium lightweight rack of 2box moves around more. But given the respective price tags, the choice was o so, so easy ..... 2box.

  • £1799

  • Where can I buy the sound set? that is the selling point, they should expand in to the software realm, will these guys ever develope ie addictive drums, type of 2box software? I hope you understand where Im going with this lol Sounds great alls I want is the sounds '-)

  • @MusiciansQuarters

At this time, the sound set is not available for purchase on it's own.

  • Hi, can I buy one of the 10 inch pads seperately and connect it to my alesis dm5 module?

  • @theydidntnameme

Hi - it is indeed, we sell individual 2Box pads at our website.

  • Is it possible to add more drums? (I mean physically increase the kit size rather than get new sounds)

  • @pietzsche

Hi, it is indeed possible. Two extra pads can be added as standard, but we can also assist you in adding more.

We are one of the few stores to offer individual 2Box pads and we ship worldwide. Please email us if you have any questions.

  • What about noise emission? The cymbals pads of my former TD3 by Roland were so loud that I often had trouble with my neighbours, so I sold it.

I think the tom and snares pads aren't as loud as plastic pads, not?

Next problem is footfall sound, oh man...

    Greez

  • @EvolRogg

The cymbals are quieter than those with the TD-3. However, you might also be interested to know the bass drum is massivley quieter than any Roland bass drum in their range. You also have the MAJOR bonus of playing with REAL drum sounds on the 2Box. Let us know if we can help you out.

  • can you use this kit to trigger addictive drums, or other s/w kits? Seems no, but they call it an "open" system...

  • @trehug

You can convert the sounds from addictive to the 2Box format and import them, so yes, you can trigger the sounds.

  • Where can I buy?

  • @MusiciansQuarters

You can purchase from our store @ edrumattic . com

    We ship worldwide.

  • hey, i've got some questions:

What about the stick rebound? i'm looking for an e-kit with an realistic rebound.

can i use my doublebasemachine or is it bad for the base pad?

is the kit resistable against playing hard on it?

thanks for taking time and sorry for my english ;)

  • @IMrMarcDeathcoreI

Like any mesh head kit, there is more bounce the an acoustic kit, but you can use real heads if you want, but naturally this will create much more noise.

You can play double pedal on the kick, no problem.

The drums are very well made and the shells are made of metal.

    I hope that helps?

  • @eDrumAttic yes, ist helps :) thanks

  • where can i buy one of these the best sounding kit ever!

  • @mmim4

Drop us an email, we ship worldwide!

  • Hello! Can you play rimshots and cross stick on the snare pad just like on Yamaha Dtx pads?

  • @poxcr

You can indeed play rimshots and cross stick on the snare.

Contact us if we can help you with a kit as we ship worldwide.

  • @eDrumAttic on another video and the 2box forum they said you can't use cross stick on the snare??

  • @outdoorpooltable

I have no idea who or why they said that, but I can assure you 100% you can do cross stick and rim shots. You just need to allocate the sound to the rim. If we can help you with a kit or any other questions, just drop us an email or visit our website.

  • hey guys can I ask a question all of you who have 2box drums? How do find this kit? I love it's sounds and I wanna buy one, but I am scared if it will be buggy, regarding the software. I have also heard of people that had hardware problems such as bad piezo wiring. I am thinking of buying the new td-9 kx2 of roland which is similar to 2box, but it sounds really fake, if you know what I mean. Thanks in advance for your time. sorry for my english, I am greek.

  • @mpampizzzz

We have had no reports of issues since the OS was upgraded last summer. It is the best kit on the market in our view. Contact us if we can help you with a kit as we ship worldwide.

  • every where they just say "yeah you can connect it to a computer." but i wonder how many drum sounds does the drumit five module have in itself already?

  • @KillerDrums777

The module comes with 100 kits preloaded and around 170 sounds. Many more sounds can also be obtained from the 2Box website, while you can naturally record your own. I hope that helps? Contact us if we can help you with a kit as we ship worldwide.

  • Hi, does the module have a USB input? I think I read somewhere that it does. and 1 more thing. I've seen people on youtube connecting a roland module to the guitar hero module and actually play guitar hero which is cool :) Can this be done with the 2box?

  • Hi, does the module have a USB input? I think I read somewhere that it does. and 1 more thing. I've seen people on youtube connecting a roland module to the guitar hero module and actually play guitar hero which is cool :) Can this be done with the 2box?

  • @xdiputsm

    Hi

2Box does indeed have a USB port, so can be connected to your pc etc.

It also has MIDI in and out which could connect to the Guitar Hero MIDI.

If we can help further - please let us know.

  • CAN SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME IF THIS KIT CAN BE SET UP LEFT HANDED?

  • @gj88drumstik

It can indeed and we have kits ready to ship!

  • @eDrumAttic Thanks alot for your help, is it possible for this kit to add extra cymbals? also what about a double-kick bass pedal? I will buy this kit if i know i can order extra cymbal and have double kick. I've played for few years and don't want a kit with only 2 cymbals and single kick. Thanks again for your help much appreciated.

  • @gj88drumstik

You can use either a double pedal or you can also purchase a second bass drum if you wanted to add that.

On the basic kit, you have 10 inputs, which leaves two extra inputs left over, so you can add either two cymbals, or a cymbal and a drum.

There is also a way to add even more pads if required.

Please email or check our website for shipping costs or other information.

Any other questions, please just let us know.

  • @eDrumAttic Thanks alot, I am definitely buying one of the kits.

  • @gj88drumstik

Glad we could help and I hope we have the chance to assist you with your purchase.

If you have any purchase related questions, please just contact us via our website.

  • @eDrumAttic when you say there is another way to add more pads, you mean connecting it with midi to another module? Anyway, is it possible to hook it with a TD-3 module for extra inputs?

  • Hi, i live in france. Where could i buy an extra crash cymbal ? Thanks

  • @MontCookie

Hi, We will have them back in stock shortly, so use the Notify Me buttonat our website on the product.

  • @eDrumAttic Hello, can you please tell me if the 2Box Drumit 5 Electronic Kit can be set up left handed? Any help is appreciated as I am looking at buying one of these kits.

  • @gj88drumstik

All pads and the module are attached to the rack by a clamp, so you can position them anywhere that you like, so you can also set up like Phil Coliins!

  • Is it a tennis ball or a bass beater? Nice kit!

  • @spparkie1

That is the 2Box beater - in keeping with the rest of the kit.

  • Hi there, over head camera was a Sony Z5 which was held into position with a clamp, the main "moving shot" camera was shot with a Sony EX3 on tripod. The video uploaded was set to 1280x720 resolution which is a lot lower than originaly shot. Hope this helps.

  • @eDrumAttic Question: What camera/s did you use to shoot this video? Thanks in advance.

  • can you add an extra tom to the set?

  • can you add an extra tom to the set?

  • @bryantmcrae144

You can add additional pads which are available from our store.

We hope to have a limited supply of all sizes of pads in the next week or so.

  • @eDrumAttic excellent thank you.

  • I just got my kit saturday, OMG when I close my eyes and go Ian Paice all over the snare it is like playing an acoustic kit!! No machine-gun effect, no stiff pads, just pure bounce drumheads with immense dynamics. I am so proud to be Swedish!! (and no, I do not work for 2box..... )

  • @nengstro

The 2Box module and kit are an amazing step forward in electronic drumming.

If we can help with any additional pads or if you have any questions, please let us know.

  • The sounds just blow me away, makes my TD-12 sound like crap...maybe time for a change.

  • @drumtravelfun

Roland make very very good modules. However, the difference is, 2Box use real sounds and the sounds you hear on the video are just what you hear when you turn the module on. We did nothing to them, however with a few tweaks, they sound even better and you can easily emulate famous kits or sounds to suit your requirements. Please drop us a line at the store if you need any further details.
