@zlmoirm Many people including top name drummers use 2Box live, whether it be the full kit or just the module. I myself have played 20-30 2Box shows without any issues, just great sounds!
@einarabelc5 A hi-hat is indeed included, all that is required to be added are sticks, stool and headphones! Please contact us at the store with your zip code for a full quote. Thank you.
@KevinVanRillaer You can indeed use Ddrum triggers. You can store 100 kits on the module and all 100 can be kits that you have created. You can also tune the drums and cymbals. I hope that helps?
There's a bloke here, at watch?v=1a4gjYAVHe doing a home demo of his Drumit, and he (eventually) gets down to some serious work on the hats. I have to say that, while the rest of the kit thrashes the competition on all other points, the hats are a sad disappointment. My playing is seriously hi-hat intensive, with lots of sizzle and subtlety, and I have heard a high level of that from Roland and Yamaha but the 2Box hat sounds thin, weedy and lacking in sizzle. Any ideas, solutions? I want one!
@Gairlochan Having not yet seen the video, naturally different hi-hat samples sound very different and give a different trigger response. A good number of people have also created their own samples from their SD2 or BFD software and have no issues in hi-hat sensitivity. That said be it Roland, Yamaha or 2Box, while they can provide an excellent feel, none are totally able to replicate a real hi-hat in terms of feel....yet!
ok i checked out the website but all the prices are in ??? so i have no idea what the us dollar amount is..if you could help me out with the amount on the basics ..(im slow i guess..sorry) .. i would apreciate it ...thank you
Hi, I am thinking of having an extra cymbal so there'd be 9 tracks altogether (3 cymbals, 3 toms, HH, Snare & Bass Drum). What'd you suggest to do recording 9 tracks at the same time as I am aware that 2box module has 8 outputs?
@CompleteDistortion The TD-9 is an excellent kit and offers some nice training features such as the Scope and record option, but if it is the sounds that matter most to you, then Roland is unable to compete as they used processed sounds, 2Box use real samples.
I have had mine for 9 months and they are AWESOOOOME! Some tips - checkout in this vid the way I mounted my toms->
watch?v=YpjZWujoTDY
They hoover on top of the rack rod rather than hanging on the side. That´s not how it was intended ;-) , but its a lot more sturdy (less swaying...) , and you get closer to the bass drum, which is a problem with the 2box standard set up otherwise. Having them mounted higher also helps when you are 6 foot 2 like me....Cheers, and hail to Swedish Engineering :-D
@ditoarch06 You can indeed. The standard set has two extra inputs available. However, you can naturally increase that using splitter cables that we sell. For example, take a tom rim trigger and allocate it to another pad, perhaps a crash cymbal trigger or another tom. Multiple options.

@Dubconferencedotorg With so many venues putting noise restrictions in place, it's technology like this that bands are turning to. The boss here uses an acoustic kit on tour with one band with mesh heads on it and the 2Box module and everyone things it's a full acoustic kit.
@slashdeciple99 The kits are not available in US stores. However, the kits start at around $2,885usd and we ship to America on a regular basis. Please contact us directly for a detailed quote.
I've just tried this kit in store today, and I have to say that the module is great, but pads are far too much unnatural, too much bounce. There was Roland TD-20 straight beside it so I could immediately compare, and the feel on TD20 is far far better.
But finally we have better sounding module than TD-20 and whats best, you can make your own sample library and upload it to module,so for now, the best solution is to use TD20 pads for best feel and 2box module with bounced Toontrack Superior samples
@fallko76 Hmm, to much bounce? Same bounce as with acoustic drums, since you have free floating drum heads on the 2box. I guess it is a matter of taste. I tried them alongside each other in the drum store and 2box won on all accounts, except maybe sturdiness of the rack. The aluminium lightweight rack of 2box moves around more. But given the respective price tags, the choice was o so, so easy ..... 2box.
Where can I buy the sound set? that is the selling point, they should expand in to the software realm, will these guys ever develope ie addictive drums, type of 2box software? I hope you understand where Im going with this lol Sounds great alls I want is the sounds '-)

Like any mesh head kit, there is more bounce the an acoustic kit, but you can use real heads if you want, but naturally this will create much more noise.
You can play double pedal on the kick, no problem.
The drums are very well made and the shells are made of metal.
I have no idea who or why they said that, but I can assure you 100% you can do cross stick and rim shots. You just need to allocate the sound to the rim. If we can help you with a kit or any other questions, just drop us an email or visit our website.
hey guys can I ask a question all of you who have 2box drums? How do find this kit? I love it's sounds and I wanna buy one, but I am scared if it will be buggy, regarding the software. I have also heard of people that had hardware problems such as bad piezo wiring. I am thinking of buying the new td-9 kx2 of roland which is similar to 2box, but it sounds really fake, if you know what I mean. Thanks in advance for your time. sorry for my english, I am greek.

You can use either a double pedal or you can also purchase a second bass drum if you wanted to add that.
On the basic kit, you have 10 inputs, which leaves two extra inputs left over, so you can add either two cymbals, or a cymbal and a drum.
