  • Can't thumb down?

  • Watched it again. Understood every word yet again. The claims are still ridiculous. And I am still an atheist.

  • 1.) Nothing strange about Jesus being dead.

2.) Empty tombs =/= divine intervention.

3.) You have paper saying that people said they saw something. That's not evidence that he was actually there, that's evidence of a hallucination, Jesus Impersonator, outright lie, or any other secular occurance.

4.) Your paper happens to be very old. Not impressive.

    5.) The Roman Empire.

  • Braaaainwashed.

  • more christian B/S . . .

  • seen right through ur bullshit and im still an atheist. u wasted my time

  • Objection: Arguing facts not in evidence.

  • a nice circular argument there - its in the bible so it proves the bible, so trustworthy. Also, your "evidence" is not evidence, its nonsense.

  • I deny the Holy Spirit.

    Did I do it right?

  • @YawnGod Yep...I did too and prayed God to strike me down for attacking his believers...still here.

  • well, I saw it, I understand it, and I still think you're full of shit. By the way I'm still an atheist.

  • Bunch Of FUCKTARDS lol

  • Arguing a "fairy-tale" . . .

  • this is bullshit. there is no such evidence about half of what he's saying for the basic reason that the historical source of evidence isn't as half reliable as he's trying to make out. furthermore his argument was quiet biased to be honest.

  • "how do you explain it apart from the ressurection?" .. Just because we might not know the exact reason for something happening in history, doesn't mean we should fill it with supernatural fairy tales. Christians say that Science doesn't know everything. No, it doesn't. If it did it would stop. Science is the endeavour to discover. It seems ludicrous to implement religion to just fill in the gaps. I mean, do you have proof that contradicts the suggestion that a giraffe created everything?

  • Watched this, im still an Atheist.

  • Ah, human accounts, that most reliable source of evidence.... total trash, I only have one life, why are you posting this rot? I will never get that 5 minutes back!

  • yes

  • yes.

  • Clear from History? Evidence? Where? A completely, scientifically discredited opinion of an interpretation of a copy of a copy of a translation of a translation of a book of fairy tales illiterate goat herders told in the desert. This is sad, notice how he tries to pull you into his delusion. Religion is like any other social club or hate group. The members need to believe the same things to make them feel superior. But why is it important that WE believe it when we are not a part of the group?

  • So stupid...

  • It's interessting, that not everybody considers the bible as such a reliable document.

I meen, it sounds all well and good, but even if we knew for a fact, that all the scribts in the bible have been writen exactly by the people that it sais (what, by the way, is NOT a proofen fact) we still couldn't be sure that what they say is actually true and not a lie, or even simply a misinterpretation of the things that happend back than. Scriptures themself simply are no reliable evidence.

  • What? "He was clearly dead." Were you there? Crucifixion usually takes several days, that's why the two criminals next to Jesus had their legs broken, to hasten death. So many people believe in Jesus? As many believe in Allah and Islam started in the Middle Ages! Christianity had more time to get a foothold and build a following."Empty tomb?" There are no directions given in the Bible to it! How do you know where it was?

  • As an investigator this guy couldn't find his ass with two hands

  • @mokeleoombembe But could he find mokele-mbembe? That's the question.

  • This is an example of the kind of mind set and logic and that people use when they want to believe something real bad.

  • Woah! I'm no longer an atheist! Oh wait...I am.

  • @DestroyDogma: YES because u are STUPID! CAPS UAHH LOL

  • I've seen this video before. Made me laugh first time round; now, just makes me kind of sad. What a couple of twerps.

  • Can you still be an atheist if you see and understand this? In a word, YES.

The speaker is not being truthful. He speaks of evidence that simply doesn't exist, and I would challenge him to prove what he spews.

Lying in support of unfounded belief is immoral.

He asks "How do you explain the explosion of believers?" Does he suggest that there was no "explosion" of Islam, Buddha, Mormonism, or Santeria?

All cults experience an "explosion" of belief. It doesn't make any particular delusion true.

  • Wow, what a tool. This guy has no proof or evidence. If he did, then he would present it to the scientific community, it would peer reviewed, and accepted. If he had proof, then he could get one million dollars from the James Randi Foundation for prooving the supernatural. Guess what? Nobody has ever gotten that one million dollars from the James Randi Foundation, the supernatural, and god are not real, and they cannot be proven.

  • @TenchiJeff There never was $1million btw, it was a scam.

  • He is bullshitting. According to "The Bible" there were eyewitnesses, but "The Bible" is all fairy-tale, and had there been eyewitnesses to something that spectacular we would have had other sources confirming it also. : )

  • @winterstellar "The Bible" may very well be fairytales, but what about the Bible?

  • @kkkaIdav Don't you use quotation marks on titles of works of fiction? Like "The Bible"?

  • @winterstellar No you don't. You just write the title.

  • @kkkaIdav Well, you can..

  • @winterstellar No you can't, because it makes the claim meaningless. That is, nobody really knows what you "The Bible" is in you book because the quotation marks suggest you are talking about something other the Bible. Like saying the "theory of evolution" is nonsense. Doesn't mean anything yet because wo don't know what's being discussed.

  • @kkkaIdav Well, I use it for novels or movies or for famous fairy tales or similar, so I use it when I mention "The Bible" too. I'll keep doing it.

  • @winterstellar Go ahead, but know it's wrong.

  • Ummm, yes

  • 1)crucifiction is a deliberately long drawn out torturous method of execution. They used to stop people dying of dehydration by sticking vinegar in their mouths, and it took days.

2)If he survived the crucifiction, of COURSE he would have left the tomb, either alone or with help

3)If he did not die, then eyewitness accounts WOULD SHOW HIM TO BE ALIVE.

    4) The bible was written 50-100 years after jesus died.

    5) Other churches, like islam, mormonism, etc, cropped up suddenly too.

  • @dangerouslytalented But ALL of the justifications are rendered irrelevant by one fact:

The bible is not an infallible book written by god. Like all other holy texts, it was written to try to convert people to their religion. All the claims in the bible were written to try to convince people to convert. If you take a look at ANY other religion, they all use absurd claims to prove their own faith.

  • I know some atheist say its shoved down their throats but how is that done? This Christmas there was very little Christmas shows on tv. On the net if you dont like Christian chat dont go on their sights. Also once a year when Christians celebrate (even though its the wrong time of the year) doesnt seem like throat ramming to me.

  • We agree on that ..yes you can not blame the whole people for the action of the few. Yes there are bad Christians as well as bad Atheist. Atheist have the right to believe what they want. I just wonder why they hate Christians? Yes some people calling themselves Christians do wrong but the majority try to do right. and are very charitable people. The big difference between us and atheist (bekieve it or not) we care about you and honestly want to save you. were is the bad in that?

  • @MrJamesfj We only hate the christians who behave badly, the televangelists who con people out of their life savings, the politicians who vilify the unbeliever at every opportunity, organisations who spread bigotry, like Westboro Baptist Church, that kind of thing.

  • @dangerouslytalented Man, this vid is so ridiculous. I have a question, to share with all: let's think that Creationism is truth. Then, WHY ONLY CHRISTIAN CREATIONISM MUST BE CONSIDERATED??? Why not Shinto? Norse? Aztec? Hindu? ¬¬

  • Comment removed

  • This not evidence, he is merely assuming some points of the story to "prove" it.

  • Yes

  • One sect of Christians made a large mistake with the crusade now you label all the Christians in the world with that...shame on you. I hope you know more then spelling and grammer because that is the only thing you can stand on. I dont care if you correct my spelling and grammer if that floats your boat. you have to boost your ego some how

  • @MrJamesfj i'll be serious with you then, and address your point directly.

russia: misguided people acting in the name of communism, many happened to be atheists (blaming atheism for their atrocities=cum hoc ergo propter hoc)

crusades: misguided peole acting in the name of christianity, many happened to be french, but we don't blame france for the crusades. shame on anyone who blames the sins of the few on all the rest, be in communists, atheists, christians or french.

  • @castelgandalf That's complete nonsense. An essential component of much of the anti-religious violence in Russia was atheism. What, eg, was the thought behind torturing and crucifying priests to show them God didn't exist - atheism or commuism?

  • @castelgandalf And what, while we're at it, do you make of Unit 731?

  • Atheist you should try to be tolerant of your fellow man. You do not have to be right on every issue you put forward. Isnt that right castelgandalf i think your spelling was just corrected. lol I would pitty a world ran by atheist. We would have Russia all over.

  • @MrJamesfj yes, but unlike christians, i welcomed the correction...from a person who can't count, by the way. (english, french, spanish & half portuguese=2 1/2 languages, right.)

lol, i would pity a world run by christians. we would have the crusades, all over...topped, for some reason (you'll have to ask kkkaldav why he brought them up, maybe he has a fetish) by dildos.

  • @castelgandalf I can count fine. Spanish, French, half Portuguese and no English. That's two and a half by my reckoning. And, crusades, lol, how many hundreds of years ago was that?

  • Here are my five ` E`s `

    Empty

    Eyewash

    Endlessly

    Evoking

    Extraordinary claims

    `WIN`

  • 1. There is no reliable historical evidence that Jesus definitely existed, let alone resurrected. In fact, historical "accounts" in the Bible generally contradict or don't fit.

    2. Even if we grant Jesus the resurrection, even if we're willing to say "alright, he died and came back to life", the next logical conclusion is not "OH WELL HE'S GOD AND THE BIBLE IS RIGHT ABOUT EVERYTHING". The next logical conclusion is "wow, that's fantastic, how did he do that?" Doing magic tricks =/= Validity

  • Yes

  • Christianity has some good values, and I can respect that people adhere to these values and come together as a community, but unwavering faith in half truths and anger towards anyone whom does not believe these half truths is ridiculous. This man spoke of the 5 'E's, the only one of which makes any sense is that of the witnesses, which were confirmed only by Peter's writings. That is to say, I could write that there were witnesses to an event, but that would not mean the witnesses truly existed.

  • yep another atheist slinging mud because they dont have any intelligent answers to questions being asked of them

  • you can tell atheist when back up to a wall and dont have anything intelligent to say they start cursing. Cant teach an atheist they know it all just ask one

  • @MrJamesfj Probably start cursing because they feel like they have just spoken with a brick wall lol

  • Wow the Jama said Jesus was dead with no body, wow that's a hell of a Dr. he must be some kind of wizard. They probably said crucifixion will kill you, they said there would be no way he could have spoken whilst being crucified.... whats more likely supernatural spirits or its all poppycock? The explosion of Christianity? Cult of personality just like Mao

  • yes, i can still be an atheist. en empty suit babbling half-truths, made up shit, hearsay, and wishful thinking somehow fails to convince me.

  • @castelgandalf hahahahaha right

  • dont forget Christians ...seems you all are afraid of what you cant possibly have

  • Your words don't become facts just because you're wearing a suit, while talking to a bob head doll.

  • what are you athiest so afraid of. You are so afraid of someone having a belief because you guys dont have anything to believe in. I pitty you guys. I never seen a bigger bunch of cry babies as i do in athiest. If you dont want to believe why are you here just to complain? if so there is my proof atheist are a bunch of cry babies and will believe anything that has a label of science put on it. You pittiful cry babies

  • « what are you athiest so afraid of »

Heights. Small, dark spaces. Loneliness. Being run over by a train. Rejection. Some of us fear spiders. Growing old. You know, the usual...

  • @MrGralgrathor Bears that can eat me whole, those frighten the bejesus out of me.

  • @MrJamesfj The title of the video is "Can you still be an Atheist IF you see and IF you understand this ? Please share your opinion".

"If you dont want to believe why are you here just to complain?"

We were invited here and asked to give our opinion. I respect the poster for that.

"believe anything that has a label of science"

I don't think this statement is true. I wonder what it is you and I think science is and how that differs.

  • @MrJamesfj Who says atheist don't believe in anything? And learn to fucking write "atheist".

  • @MrJamesfj athiest? pitty? pittiful? never seen? atheist are?

some of us are afraid of seeing so much ignorance in the world, illustrated by such a plethora of misspelled words and bad grammar. here's a pnemonic device i made just for you to remember the correct spelling:

atheist pity pitiful christians like me.

one atheist is awesome, many atheists are more awesome than anything i ever saw.

you can take the christian out of remedial courses....

  • @castelgandalf Pnemonic? Is that a mnemonic for remembering how to spell mneumatic or mneumonia. You can put the atheist into remedial classes...

...but unfortunately he'll probably be there for the duration.

  • @kkkaldav miisses the point. we all make a typo once in a while don't we? tired of discussing blushing already? thanks for pointing it out to me, anyhow, i'll try not to rush through my comments, especially in my non-native tongue, would you mind spell-checking the rest?

and my spanish and french posts too?

    start here: /all_comments?v=irETU_0EOMw

also, i have friend whose typos make it hard for my limited portuguese. would you mind: /all_comments?v=4eT3ocxw-a0

  • @castelgandalf That's not a typo - that's a spelling mistake. A typo is when you hit the wrong key by accident - as you did when you typed "miisses" in your post above. Let's face facts, you're a dildo. And all speaking spanish and french means is that you can be a dildo in two and a half languages. ROFL

  • made up facts are still made up facts.

  • This argument falls flat on its face before it even begins. Jesus may have been real and may have claimed to be the son of God and I'll even grant you that some people may have actually witnessed the resurrection. What none of those claims actually do is prove that A: God is real or B: why only Jesus was resurrected but no one else throughout history. You're trying to start building a skyscraper 50 stories in the air that's just not going to work.

  • Five minutes in, you have, A piece of historical data, and the bible... Even IF that creed shows people saying Jesus was alive, that still isnt Jesus saying hes alive and that still is not enough solid evidence to claim someone came back alive... Any history, a simple conversation, is covered by many accounts, many witnesses, all different sources tested against each other, you have 2... a document and a book... if anyone presented evidence like that to historians and they would laugh at you

  • Also, you said... Peter said this... not Jesus said this, so Peter comes up and says, Jesus came back, he and his friends wined and dined with them, then he disappeared? Jesus didnt think to just tell these people himself? Something sounds very wrong here im afraid...

  • Four minutes in, you never provided us with the name of the creed, you just said the creed, ive looked all over and I cannot find "the creed"

  • Three minutes in, where is this creed? Why is it not paraded on the streets? Where is it at the moment? Why has no serious historian come forward to say it is real? How did they test it?

  • Two minutes in, are you seriously saying that there are eye witness accounts? You mean the ones that were put again in the bible which is again only ONE source of evidence with nothing to back it up?

Again, people saw the tomb empty... its easy to move a body, and before you say there were guards, ever heard of being bribed? Distracted? 3 days to dig a tunnel and cover up the tomb side... There have been plenty of robberies that have taken place right under the noses of officials...

  • I have gone a minute into the video, and already I have a problem... What is your evidence? The bible? That is not nearly enough to prove all of this... Did Roman historians talk about this? Were there prison records? Did you find his tomb?

You see, history is not made from one book saying one thing happened, there are many texts, photos, journals, etc... there are none of these except the bible, which is one source of evidence which has nothing to back it up other than "well thats what it says"

  • This entire clip is a misrepresentation of the truth. Especially the claim at 3:05 is totally inaccurate. No evidence of this kind has stood up to scrutiny of serious historians. Of course, like the tobacco companies discovered you can always find a couple of true professional that disagrees with or at least casts doubt on the consensus. Science works that way. There are a lot of wishful misinterpretations, cooks and downright forgeries out there. He is either blinded by faith, stupid or a liar.

  • This didn't even make me come any bit close to believing in this horse shit. The Bible is wrong, its a load of BULL SHIT that some smart people made to convince a bunch of uneducated un controllable people, it worked back then but now we know the truth.

  • @hmeoscar too bad i can't give this thumbs up

  • Tell me this - all of your evidence is from one source, the bible. Not only is it written like 100 years after Christ died (which means it's a secondary source), BUT it's complete propaganda, and has time in time out been proved wrong by various archaeological and historical sources.

Stupid Christian fags, learn common sense before talking out your ass.

  • All of his evidence seems to be stated from the bible, so why should the bible be seen as true evidence?

  • I'm telling you people that planet earth was created by a penis, which lives up in the sky! And if you dont believe it, you'll burn in a neverending fire with an asshole. This is true, because you cant disprove it!

Do you ignorant "god" believers see how stupid this sounds...?

  • @ole941 what are you talking about, i'm signing up for this religion right away

  • I take great pride in knowing alot about history but even our history can be misspelled and be full of lies.

Christians did a great job to do that.

  • sigh!

  • Oh, and BTW - a creationist disabling ratings on his video? Who'd have thought it?

  • @RedGreenInBlue Dead right! They have the creator of the universe on their side but are scared of being judged by mere mortals.

  • 5 Es? Executed? According to the Bible, an internally inconsistent, largely unsubstantiated or contradicted by archaeological evidence and admittedly extensively revised and edited. Empty tomb? According to the Bible. Eye-witnesses? According to the Bible. Early records? Yes, of *beliefs*… according to the Bible. Emergence of the church? In that case, the emergence of Islam is proof of Mohammed's divinity, Hinduism and Vishnu, Scientology and Xenu…

In short: I'm still an atheist.

  • YES to both! also does anyone else suspect him of having his ears pinned back? what! god's plan not good enough for you???!!! haha :) (i have nothing to back up that second point)

Man his voice is just as bad as WLC!!!

  • AAARRGGHH

  • Yes you can.

  • What's this guy's name?

  • Yup, still an atheist

  • SOMETIMES ATHEIST ARE CONFUSING CREATURES:

Whilst witnessing unforeseeable events they say "OH MY GOD".

From within and with great passion they cry out "JESUS CHRIST".

Then they say "IF GOD DIDN'T EXIST THEN MAN WOULD CREATE HIM".

What do they mean "If God Didn't Exist" can they kid themselves?

It's like a boy child who likes a young girl and calls her names!

He is simply afraid others would make fun of him.

    A long, long time ago,

In The beginning God Created the heaven and the earth...

  • @mat2112moneychangers I could be surprised and say "SWEET ZEUS OF THUNDER!!" that is no proof that I believe in Zeus. Fail logic.

  • @ItsMeDauntless can you not say sweet zeus of thunder please, i find that a little bit offensive.

  • @ItsMeDauntless.

No worries mate, my post was tongue & cheek.

    Watch This Title On YouTube.

    *UNLOCKING THE MYSTERY OF LIFE*.

    Scientific documentary on bacteria flagellum.

Easy to follow logic not taught in schools!

Search Creation Science on YouTube for more.

If you don't like the preaching, ignore those parts.

Richard Dawkins, probably the most renowned evolutionist now accepts the probability of god.

Again if you don't like the preaching, don't let that stop you discovering the truth.

  • @mat2112moneychangers No he doesn't.

  • Jesus claimed to be the king of the jews.He wanted his brothers(actual siblings) to continue convincing people of such after his death. The disciples refused to let them do this and instead preached for him causing seperation from the jews.Jesus did not want that, nor did he want christianity to exist,he wanted to be accepted by the jews as their prophet.Christianity is just a spin off series made popular by the peoples need to escape oppression, just like with the old testament.

  • Can you still be an Atheist IF you see and IF you understand this ? yes ,yes i can

  • The claim is meaningless as the speaker states. The popularity of Christianity by itself is also meaningless. The only source for the crucifixion, empty tomb, supposed eyewitnesses (sources?) is...? The early records include a "creed" or a statement of principles. The popularity of Christianity is, once again, meaningless. Feng Shui, ayurveda, vashtra, and Wicca have been quite popular and have stuck around dfor quite a long time.

  • Was 99,998% atheist before, i am now 99,999%.

  • At the very least, the speaker should be citing sources.

  • "Can I still be an Atheist IF you see and IF you understand this?"

Yes, in fact you have made me just a little bit more certain that there is no god. I am now 99.98% sure the Christian god doesn't exist rather than 99.97% sure. Do you really expect this crap to sway me? I want actual evidence.

  • uhh how is this any different than all the other bullshit christian rhetoric??

Yes of course I'm still an Atheist!

  • Where to start with the contradictions.. Compare the accounts of the tomb visit by Mary: was there 1 or 3 angels there, did she "immediately run and tell the disciples" or "she told no one", was the stone already rolled away or rolled away after she got there.. depends on which gospel you read. on and on and on. But no "God" wrote it. That's some real "faith". People worship a book and call it "God"

  • Yes.

  • there is more after we leave. check out near death experience's. thousands of people around the world agree. that is fact. a proven fact. then it broils down to good and bad. Carma. Atheist's can believe what they want till they die then they are in a situation where the choice is not there. I love it when the lord said if you do not believe in me believe in my work.

  • I'm possibly even more of an atheist now. Thanks.

  • Isn't it interesting that whether you name your God Jesus, Jehovah, Allah, Santa, My Higher Self, or My Dead Relative, you have the same inner experience, the same effect in the world. Does God, if there is one, care what name you use? Fallible people in the Christian Religion are SO threatened by diversity they insist there is only one name for God, their God. Don't buy it? You will be tortured by their "loving" God. Need Proof? Watch them quote from a book jam packed with contradictions

  • Yes.

  • Yes.

  • Seen it, still an atheist

  • Jesus H. What a fricking moron. Evidence, data? You mean a deeply, deeply flawed cultic book that contains dozens of direct contradictions between the gospel acounts of the "resurrection". How many angels at the tomb, did mary "tell no one" or "run and tell the disiples"... depends on which gospel you read. On top of that these people say their "God" will torture your arse if you don't believe like they do. Sociopaths, no better than Jim Jones.

  • @jmbates5179 go worship dawkins

  • @jmbates5179 Books, chapters, and verses of these contradictions, please.

  • How typical for a pro-Christian page to disable the rating feature.

  • Delusion – A fixed false belief that is resistant to reason or confrontation with actual fact. Christianity insanity.

  • @MalayangTagalog Christianity is dying out fool!

  • When the Muslims took over Jerusalem no one was killed for their faith. When the Christians took over Jerusalem, every single man, woman and child were killed.

  • This guy is so full of shit. There are no eye witness accounts and no credible historians or anything that wrote anything about this. You would it would be a big enough deal fir people to write about it.

  • Hahahahahaha! What a tool.Explosion of the church?Yeah,If you didnt go you would be killed.Oh yeah,Killed in the name of god.I bet he doesnt have a muslum friend that comes over and eat steaks. But he does eat steal allright! Paid for by selling bullshit!

  • Could this guy actually provide a biblical verse where Jesus directly, clearly stated that he was the son of god? How about some contemporary writings about the man? Is there a single record of his existence anywhere other than in the cult stories about him recorded decades after his alleged crucifiction?

  • So being a zombie means you are the son of god? Or does being a zombie mean anything you say is true? Not sure the logic on how his resurrection proves his godliness.

  • The title of this video assumes that anyone capable of understanding the conversation will share the same beliefs. Isn't that the biggest load of shit?

  • Because the bible told you so. No change in my belief either... Still Atheist.

    Theological scholars... oxymoron.

  • My atheism has been strengthened. Cheers

  • Still an atheist.

  • Videos such as this will not convert any atheists because they will fact check the things that they hear. I advise you to find more compelling evidence if you want to make a difference. If you happen to find evidence compelling enough to convert fact checking atheists... then even I will believe in miracles.

  • Ok, so I HAVE seen it and I DO understand it and yes, I am still an atheist. Short of the bible, there is no historical proof that jesus ever lived. There were several historians living in the same area at the same time as jesus supposedly did and NONE of them have any mention of him at all. The bible (which is clearly a work of fiction that someone took too seriously) is the only point of reference to the existence of jesus.

  • @morgothic420 YOU'RE A DOUCHE. THE BIBLE IS NOT HISTORICAL EVIDENCE FOR JESUS CHRIST. THAT WOULD BE LIKE SAYING "THE SOURCERER'S STONE" IS EVIDENCE FOR HARRY POTTER.

    GOT A BRAIN?

  • This man, Strobel, is a lying, dispicable, hateful man.

  • There is a small amount of evidence that Jesus was executed.

There is no reliable evidence of an empty tomb, eyewitness or the resurrected Jesus except writings from at least decades later.

What is really suspicious is that Jesus supposedly performed miracles including raising the dead, and when he died, zombies were walking around Jerusalem, but there is absolutely no mention of any of it in the historical records of the time. Nobody thought it was important enough to document?

    Not convincing!

  • Great stuff!! I believe now!! .... now please get a real job!

  • Yes, you can. He misrepresents certain scientific facts and - though I do believe in God - that weakens his case considerably. He simply assumes that the outcome he wants to believe (Jesus got resurrected, the church was created because of it) is the only possible outcome where there are plenty of others. There is much more convincing evidence in favour of religion than this elsewhere.

  • How can you say that Jesus' tomb is empty when we have no idea where his tomb is?

  • @Not2Sane *THUMB UP*

  • So you're saying "How can you still not believe after watching this video?" That's a circular fallacy. You can't say "See, the Bible is true because the Bible is true." Get it? It's like a Muslim putting up a video of a guy ranting about the Koran and calling it "How can you still not believe after watching this?" Do you understand how STUPID that is? We're not convinced by someone telling us what the Bible says because it's the Bible itself that we call into question!

  • My question to this preacher is how does know what someone else knows? Sure he can claim that these prophets knew Jesus was real, but how does he know that without being around during that time?

  • Still an Atheist. Jesus wasn't the only nut-job to claim he was a God. Considering there's no evidence for Jesus, and the tale tales were only written about well after his alleged life, then this truly is only Christian mythology. Sorry chumps, where's the evidence? Pinhead here claims there's evidence. Pinhead is mistaken.

  • but you still rely on one book, which is known for being censored over and over again, starting with paul himself, who's presented here as part of the source.

And that doesn't bug you at all?!

(btw. how come your description of the video is an outright lie?)

  • But why should we believe these records?

Any good History teacher will tell you that you can't believe any source. We need to know the origin of the source before we can trust it.

  • Your Muslim friend most likely thinks you are a blasphemous infidel, and you are certain he will suffer for eternity for HIS beliefs. Where does it really get you?

  • when does he get to the evidence?

  • im the son of god ,please send me the 10 % of all your money and you will be saved and not only that i will give you in heaven 7 times 70 virgins, playboy style if u are a girl too bad for you sorry i dont have bratt pitts for you, cause god my perfect father is racist he didnt grant u anything in the bible.

  • I don't know why. But these cocksucking fucking faggots shouting on the housetops their believe in jesus, always make me laugh. It is the same when you see a child lying about his steeling a cookie, and you can see the crumbs around his mouth.

  • @MalayangTagalog

    Never said I was perfect.

Atheists make up less than 2% of prison populations, which is grossly disproportional considering they make up around 16% of the population of the US.

"most atheist are those that have access education and are in good socio economic status.. "

So, your argument is that only those who are ignorant or have poor lives believe in God? Okay.

Also didn't say that God is evil. I said that the bible teaches that mankind is evil and without worth.

  • @MalayangTagalog

People benefit greatly from not believing. In general, the more secular/atheistic the area, the higher the overall happiness, the lower the crime rate, etc.

Atheists are dead inside, huh? Only made happy by a materialistic lifestyle? Stereotypes spewed by someone without a clue as to what they're talking about.

As for no hope, what kind of hope is there in believing that you're a valueless, worthless, evil thing who can only find absolution by worshiping God?

  • I am still agnostic leaning toward atheism. If this is a refutation to atheism I think it would well fit under the category of what is called: "the backfire effect." The backfire effect is defined as: when your deepest convictions are challenged by contradictory evidence, your beliefs become more entrenched.

  • @MalayangTagalog

Atheism is dying? According to studies, it's slowly growing, with almost 16% of Americans now identifying themselves as such. And thankfully so; once we get rid of this childish belief in fairy tales and demons we might actually be able to evolve as a society.

  • yes i can.

  • "Reliable historical data" - hohoho, that about sums up my response.

  • @Auktoriserad you're right about the trinity. think of it like water. water can exist in three forms (ice, cloud, liquid) but it's elements are the same. Why would God sacrifice himself? it's called selfless love. Love for you. No one shows greater love than when he lays down his life for his friends.-John 15:13 No other gods before him? because we make all sorts of things more important than God, especially ourselves, he used the word god as a synonym for whatever controls your life, your god.

  • I'm convinced first of all because it's a lot easier to make money this way.
